It's time for a difference maker and he's one of them....He's not perfect, but he's got a lot of solid attributes. And by the first game of his first year our D will be knocking players around and playing D the way it should be played - aggressively....

Disclaimer: As most of you know, I'm here to talk football. D$'s the guy with the great connections. I don't consider myself anything close to an insider and basically just know a handful of people close to the program. I'm not on here trying to get Butch hired. I don't have enough information right now to really give a meaningful opinion on the coaching search alternatives.

Big O mentioned something towards saying they would have someone ready to step in, shadowing him i guess. Which would not be a bad idea imo. more banners please!
 
Given how cheap he would be relative to a current coach, it should be the first and only option. If the choice is wait til end of year to avoid buyout and overpay for someone else, or buyout now and pay less for Butch, you take Butch tomorrow everyday

If they were to hire Butch, which I would be happy with, he would have to hire about 9 coaches to come along with him. Who would you think he may try to hire and at what coaching positions?
 
Refuse to get excited until Joe Schad confirms and it's on the bottom ticker of ESPN. Starting to get a semi woody doe.
