yes.. He didnt play early tho.. starters were james and kam with blades as 3rd safety.. He was in on special team units and came in late.. saw him limp off too but it didnt look major.. Seems blades passed him up, idk.. Guess coaches like blades as safety because they got lockdown ivey..

Didn’t tackle well at CB so I was surprised by the position change to be honest.

Always appeared to be a better coverage guy than Ivey though.

Probably cause blades was ok at covering but a terrible tackler. He’s got that bubba bolden ankle diving technique.

If this depth chart looks the same come week 3 we’re in trouble. Was at the game so not the best view but will dissect the tape tomorrow. Really questionable personnel decisions. Chantz Williams, Harvey, Flagg, Ivey, Williams as a safety…. Expect those to all change based on what I saw yesterday

There was a play late where a BCU ball carrier got loose and broke some tackles and then Brian Balom came in and eviscerated him. I was happy to see it.
