I get that as well, and if he can make this O go, great. I just think there are younger, up and coming OC's he could have went after. I know he was the HC of UNC, but their O never impressed me, so it makes me suspect of who he had as his OC while there. That is, if he hires him.

Just posted the same. Larry had that one season (2015) a while back when they lit the world on fire (11-1), but I can think of a few offenses I like much better.

Said multiple times.. Dugans relationship with Cager rubbed several young receivers the wrong way including Ezzard and Pope. We just got rid of a cancer (Cager) and the loss of Dugans is irrelevant to me. Anyone can recruit WR in south Florida except Al Golden’s staff...and what have they done on the field to warrant his pay and title? Drops, missed blocks, running wrong routes, body language, etc

But I agree with you that making big choices like HC/OC/DC based on current teams preferences is bad... but S&C? thats about respect and your implementation of your knowledge and being able to get the most out of the kids
