Lol at wanting to take his friend.

**** no

Agreed. John Franklin is just.......no. Go watch the kid play. Trust me.

No.

His Junior highlights are FCS caliber.

Yeah, Franklin would fit in well at the FCS level. But I'm not wasting a scholly on him when we're still likely to get a scholarship reduction from the NCAA penalties. We need every scholarship player to matter. And, quite simply, Franklin doesn't.

He is big and fast though, what are the chances he could be another Xavier Rhodes like what FSU fans are saying?

what weownfsu and hege said. u can tell the guys who have been around awhile.

the last 5 years our early commits have flipped we have a problem holding on to them. Nix Kearse Brown Peterson Northrup etc.

How accurate is the commitment with saying that hes going to fsu?

In order to cut back on the amount of threads we have on him and all the rumors surrounding him, lets try to keep it in here.

**11/3- meant to post this Friday, but a current Miami commitment told me this in reference to Collins: "He's going to FSU"

**11/4- Just interviewed John Franklin for SFHSSPORTS and this is what he had to say about the situation with Collins: "We haven't talked that much about it actually. Before any of this went down with the offers, we had always talked about wanting to play college ball together. It's definitely something we wanted to do, but at the end of the day, he's doing what's best for him and i'm doing what's best for me."

just b/c you have followed doesn't mean you know what u are talking about. it could happen, but, 90% of the time w/ a south florida kid UM wants and has wanted UM it works out in UM's favor.
yeah, kids flip all the time, not given these conditions and circumstances though.

(Insert the last 20 South Florida kids that are balling somewhere else) say hello.

what weown said.
c'mon, bomb. you've been around long enough. what 20 south florida kids? and which that were committed to UM? stay in the conversation. we aren't talking about "misses".

It's a long way to February, this kids recruitment was going down to the wire anyway IMO. We may just need to re-close the deal.

wait, isn't FSU getting that RB from St Pete? Green I think?

gonna make me sick if they get Collins too. still don't believe it. I think the kid will stick. too much opportunity for him here and AG is all over it I'm sure

The only one of those who was from South Florida is Patrick Johnson, and he was into playing games. Collins isn't.

yeah and Northrup was from upstate (Jacksonville area no) also, everyone knows that PJ got PAID. that was a very unique recruitment with his biological father getting involved late in the game. I think it was similar to that movie He Got Game

Collins will be a cane barring crushing sanctions. even then he should come. he will get 30% of the carries day 1
