If the kid wants to play with his boy then so be it. In no way do you sell out for a RB. If it was a game changing pass rusher or a top flight qb then maybe. South Florida is loaded with studs every year.

Im hopeful the kid uses his head and comes here. Hes gonna be the 1b besides Duke. I think he gets 10-15 carries a game in his freshman year here.

Kids flip flop every cycle. There are plenty of RBs in FL every year.

I expect AG to stay on Collins until LOI is in regardless if he flips or not.

@Hegemon - just post the info, no one on RCT will care.

Or you could? Help us out.

what weownfsu and hege said. u can tell the guys who have been around awhile.

This makes no sense. I've followed recruiting forever and kids flip all the time after being committed for a long time. You have to be a fool to think that Collins may not change his commitment.

just b/c you have followed doesn't mean you know what u are talking about. it could happen, but, 90% of the time w/ a south florida kid UM wants and has wanted UM it works out in UM's favor.
yeah, kids flip all the time, not given these conditions and circumstances though.

Check update in the Original Post. Looks like some good news for Miami/a possible Freudian slip from Franklin. The quote made it seem as though Collins has a decision made already.

Not to interrupt this squabble, or to disagree, but posts like "He is a Cane", "Cane", "Cane Lock" are to the recruiting board, as "We Skate" and "He gets it" are to the football board.

Uncommon to most boards are....."I was wrong"

If he wants to stay, great. If he wants to go to FSU, because his HS friend who can't get a scholarship on his own is going to FSU, then go. If the sanctions are scaring him off, then go. Don't need prima donas, don't need head cases, do need great players who want to be here.

Also the "Jimbo you stupid fool lol at you taking Franklin for no reason" post

The only times UM loses a local kid that has been committed for a while is if there is coaching instability, SERIOUS concern about playing time (Kayvon Webster), or tons of game-playing (Patrick Johnson). I don't see any of these affecting Collins. He hasn't really played games at all. In fact everything I've heard about him is that he's a straight shooter and he clearly doesn't care that much about attention. He knows he's a ******* animal so he doesn't care THAT much about PT. I guess sanctions could affect him like corching instability, but unless we get a deadly NOA it'll be fine. Only reason he will go somewhere else is if we have a crushing NOA.

Did Jimbo get pimped lmao...how idiotic would he look for a) having John Franklin on scholly with Collins kicking his *** for 3 years b) pulling the scholly after Collins inks and never being allowed at South Plant again lol

Noles have been trying to convince themselves that Franklin is worthy of a scholly lmao. Shameful

Franklin could just be keeping quiet because they told him too. I just have such a hard time being an optimist.
