Article about Mario the QB killer

Kirby is a QB killer and somehow still won a Natty.
both things are true. he doesn't know what to do with QB talent and he recruited his *** off to build a title team so the Qb can be on cruise control

Time will tell.

Some of the stuff has some truth to it but oregon fans have to realize this is only Mario’s 2nd P5 HC job he has time to grow

Herbert was so poorly coached he balled in the NFL from day one. In the pandemic season no less, without traditional camp and preseason.

Meanwhile, Dwayne Haskins threw 50 TDs in his one starting season for Meyer. How’d that work out? Recent tragedy notwithstanding.

Fantasy football has ruined the sport more than some realize.
tech week 2 bc I think tyrod got stabbed by his own doc week 1

Saban did change his offensive philosophy.
He had to. Teams with spread offenses we’re already passing him by. He‘d rather win a slugfest but knew high-powered spread offenses were the future, and settles for the occasional shootout win because it beats losing.

I’m happy to have Cristobal.

But his offenses are a red flag.

His Oregon teams didn’t actually rank high in the analytic rankings, except the Herbert year, and that’s because the defense was so highly ranked.

It doesn’t look like he recruited a starting QB while there if Bo Nix wins the job.

And his Oregon teams always had really good OLs, meaning even with dominating lines the offenses weren’t that impressive.

He needs to have his Saban “Kiffin” moment.

right. It’s not that he brought in a bunch of talent and the offenses took off. He realized his offensive philosophy was wasn’t going to do it anymore.

Ideally Cristobal has the same awakening.

Yea but u will attract a QB regardless a stud will come even if u ran it all day. Them dudes were winning natties with an ancient offense while everyone was running spread. TALENT always dominates the long haul....pause. Those boy won without Kiffin....and Kiffin can't win now.
Kiffin just won 10 games at ole miss.. OLE MISS.. u know with the game nowadays everybody not playing for the ship..

Of course bama still winning, they get first dibs..

Difference is, this iteration of Mario comes with a ridiculous supporting cast. Gattis and Ponce alone bring a gravitas to the offensive staff he's never had before, IMO. Add in the defensive staff, profusion of analysts and GAs. If nothing else, UM is giving him the best chance possible to win.

And his defenses were giving up a lot of points.
