both things are true. he doesn't know what to do with QB talent and he recruited his *** off to build a title team so the Qb can be on cruise control

Some of the stuff has some truth to it but oregon fans have to realize this is only Mario’s 2nd P5 HC job he has time to grow

He had to. Teams with spread offenses we’re already passing him by. He‘d rather win a slugfest but knew high-powered spread offenses were the future, and settles for the occasional shootout win because it beats losing.
 
I’m happy to have Cristobal.

But his offenses are a red flag.

His Oregon teams didn’t actually rank high in the analytic rankings, except the Herbert year, and that’s because the defense was so highly ranked.

It doesn’t look like he recruited a starting QB while there if Bo Nix wins the job.

And his Oregon teams always had really good OLs, meaning even with dominating lines the offenses weren’t that impressive.

He needs to have his Saban “Kiffin” moment.

right. It’s not that he brought in a bunch of talent and the offenses took off. He realized his offensive philosophy was wasn’t going to do it anymore.

Ideally Cristobal has the same awakening.

He wont ever win at a high level consistently if he doesnt get the top talent, watch and see. Thats why that dude trying to dip before everyone find out ui cant do **** at Ole Miss

Difference is, this iteration of Mario comes with a ridiculous supporting cast. Gattis and Ponce alone bring a gravitas to the offensive staff he's never had before, IMO. Add in the defensive staff, profusion of analysts and GAs. If nothing else, UM is giving him the best chance possible to win.
