2027 Aroson "AJ" Randle Jr 4* LB from Garner, NC (Garner HS)

From Gaby

“The latest intel suggests that two schools were best positioned: Miami and South Carolina. However, the Fighting Irish made a strong last-second push for the blue-chip defender with an in-home visit on Wednesday evening.”

The buzz has been on Miami over the past week, and the latest intel continues to suggest that the Canes are best positioned”

Gotta get this one done.
I keep telling people ND and LSU basically recruiting off our big board, we could say we after DBC and they will send the whole church there.

"And if we were in their realm, then we probably wouldn’t be losing so many of these recruits— that’s factual"

You're going to lose a lot of guys you go after - that's the nature of recruiting. We lost a bunch of DL prospects in the 2024 class, yet we still brought in a monster group.

What are you the thought police?

Probably means what it said— you’re reading in— that’s conjecture

Can’t argue that he who spends profligately likely wins more recruiting battles for prime talent that’s just logic, and a reasonable statement.

Probably— that leaves room for exceptions

This is a battle of attrition, and the parsing is wasted breath. I’m done. It’s gonna be what it’s gonna be.

Surprised Well Done GIF by NBC

Hard to dispute that the team spending prodigally tends to recruit prodigiously—it’s practically the oldest playbook in the game.

Intent: a clear purpose, aim or plan to do something
(My intent using probably)

Parse: to breakdown a complex sentence into smaller components to analyze its meaning

(What you’re doing playing “gotcha)

Give it up…

Regardless of how this goes, surprised no teams on his list were at his house last night. Maybe they are in-person today?
That’s called the “takeaway” in negotiations— meaning they make an offer which makes up for their lack of attentiveness throughout the recruiting process (I also don’t have any idea what kind of contact they had prior but ND wasn’t on the short list)

Don’t think anyone teams knew ND was doing Mario moves—

Get them to agree, on their couch, offer them gobs of money & make him think about it overnight…. Spray & pray.

I wouldn’t call it desperation on NDs part— that’s a power move. Give the devil his due.

I love NIL, control the portal and watch hlw the sport stabilize.

NIL gives more teams a chance to turn their fortunes around. People like nostalgia, but handful of teams every cycle was played out. Its not like Bama and UGA cant start spending or that they are not, they just have more resistance from other teams to get players and keep players.
