And people wonder why we didn't really pursue McFadden, been over rated since day 1. Can't wait to get JJ on campus though, true baller.

Steve Wilfong just said the 2 most impressive D-backs have been McFadden (FSU) and Rico McGraw (Alabama). Tim Irvin not doing so well today. Hopefully he comes on strong.

It's Crazy people think Jordan Scarlett is the key player of this 2015 recruiting class (he's not even the best RB committed Walton is). Jaquan Johnson this the best player we got coming and it's not even close.

I agree with ya man.

Also more on McFadden. Another South Florida kid that got away.

Best Day 1 performers:

1. Trent Thompson - DT/UGA
2. Mcfadden -the five-star Florida State cornerback commit was dominant in 1-on-1s, 7-on-7 and 11-on-11. The 6-foot-3, 200-pound McFadden has the height, length and ability to press people. He was able to handle the bigger receivers in Lawrence Cager and Devonaire Clairington just as easily as he could the smaller and quicker players. A very polished player at this point in his career, McFadden was the only one that had a chance to match up with the nation’s top-ranked receiver Deon Cain.

JJ got a lot of love also.

I've seen McFadden play twice and not impressed. Has the physical tools but not too smart. And who cares about drills. Show it in games...

Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) St. Thomas Aquinas Top100 running back Jordan Scarlett did not participate in the afternoon but showed that juice and speed in the morning practice, bouncing his first run outside for a touchdown. The Miami commit’s top-end speed is phenomenal and the major reason why 247Sports ranks him as the country’s No. 5 running back. Florida and Florida State remain in the mix for the 5-foot-11, 210-pound Scarlett.

Another Miami pledge in Top247 safety Jaquan Johnson had a huge day. A smart player that picked up the defense quickly, he played both safety and corner on this day, primarily nickel in 7-on-7 stuff. Johnson broke up a ton of passes, and he likes to press. The country’s No. 9 safety according to 247Sports is enrolling early and will be tough to keep off the field next fall.

Did they really say T. McFadden was impressive? Judging by those videos, looked pretty bad.

Scarlett can't be compared to Walton. Scarlett is a true future NFL stud every down back. He has a true 2nd gear and can blow by defenders in the secondary. While Walton is really good himself, he does it in a totally different way, by being good at everything but not great at anything. I think JJ is also the most important guy in this class but to say Walton is better than Scarlett.. idk. Walton is a lot like Yearby and I think our offense needs a big back that can also blow by the secondary like Scarlett. When it's all said and done I think we look back and Scarlett is the best back out of the entire 2015 class in the country, period.

Look at this roster --- notice the 5 star players?

https://footballrecruiting.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=746936

How many of them panned out?

Exactly! LMAO

The saddest thing about that roster is Patrick Johnson (aka Patrick Peterson) was still committed to the U. He then goes to LSU and becomes the best producing player on this list. Smh Randy really laid a dud there.

Andrew Luck alone covers all those misses. That man is a baller. Still have my "Suck For Luck" shirt for the Dolphins. Smh. What a mistake that was.

Rivals just posted the 1on1 from the East about 7 mins long, you can see Johnson who looks really good at times, and you can see Irvin, who doesn't look comfortable at CB
