Armella wins OL MVP at Rivals Miami, discusses UM recruitment

To be fair, it is not him, it is his father if the report is to be believed. He also had the weird issue at columbus. Hope it all works out for the kid, seems like he is getting pulled in multiple directions.
problems at St. Thomas Aquinas, problems at Gulliver, problems at CCHS. what is the common denominator?

This is going to be a circus. I see why Manny is putting his eggs in the basket of core guys (Hood, Carswell, Richardson etc) and will just leave an open spot in case Armella decides to join but isnt depending on him.

I was listening to an interview he did and his mom was there. She seems very much involved and in control and I got the sense she wanted him close to home. We need these tyoe of talent to matchup in the trenches. I don't particularly care about the saga if he ends up here. Just don't make him the only option. Dad might snort some lines and run away with the signing papers. We actually have one of the best record in OL drafted the past 10 years or so.

All about end result. It would be a massive pull to get him. He’s OR by Rivals but still the highest OT on our board.

LSU board was talking about this back in June. They are hoping Dad gets control of the recruitment. They feel good about their chances if that happens. They know Mom will keep him closer to home. sounds like a nightmare for the kid

From what I understand, the kids father is really bad meshuggah, and has effed the kid up. The mother is actually fairly normal and smart enough to divorce the dad, and if we have a good season, she wants him at UM.

He seems outspoken, bold and a little brash. He might be letting his parents steer the ship right now, but he is probably letting them shoot their load (feel like they are in control), but in the end, all of the wrangling will lead to him choosing where he wants to go. The longer this goes on the better for Us.

Let his parents wear themselves out. This recruitment will end like Avante Williams’, all the recruiting plays and politics will have ran their course and the kids favored school will be sitting right there for the choosing on early signing day or even national signing day.

good read, but what does the Abuela with the chancleta (flip flop sandal) want? she's as much of a factor as anyone. she'll beat his *** if she wants to.

I like him as a player, he's what you want in an olineman. However since day 1 there seems to be an issue present. Idk what it is, bad home life, mental issues, prior trauma. The kid just has something off about him.
