Are we too confident or entitled about the FSU game?

Against UNC people were saying things like they always keep it close against us and we have to worry about them and they played us soooooo tough last season with a worse team so they can beat us this year.
And so on and so on.

The fact of the matter is Our front 7 is playing at such a high level this season and from what I have seen ACC teams are just not ready for it.
That alone makes me confident that we will win comfortably.

Never mind the last game vs North Carolina an acc oppenent. Means nothing... lol

Are you saying a Perry-less O is gonna unleash **** on FSU?

Can Weldon get it done? Maybe.

Rosier at 40% completion? Even more drive killing is when he manages same zip code with WR, it requires 3 backflips and behind the back grab while falling to.ground to make it stick?

My point is this--Perry rolls, Miami rolls. If he isn't leading O, does Miami have roster to truly crush FSU and win walkimg away rather than nail biter?

Not convinced yet.

...If you guys watched yesterday's Louisville/F$U game, you'd see that Louisville outplayed the Noles and it wasn't even close.

Agreed. The Red Birds uncharacteristically snapped defeat from the jaws of victory--several times.

What has happened to Bobby Slide My Bike?

Why the **** are some fans so **** afraid of FSU. You mention we have beat nobody. They have struggld every game against teams just as weak or weaker. Have been a Cane fan since the days it was Burdine Stadium. Name was not changed to Orange Bowl until about 1957.. Have.never been afraid of any game even in the darkest years in the 70,s If you think FSU is so great this year go cheer them. No we are not perfect but have **** sure shown a lot more upside than they have.

Deondre Francois is a player. We must play like our hair is on fire.
His hair is, I think, on fire. And he does have a sweet shuffle and boogaloo for the locker room.

Don't let that fool you. They will play like they are possessed.

Yes, of course this board is too confident. There is literally no reason for anybody to think that we blow those guys out. Al Golden kept the games against FSU close and he might be the worst coach in college football history. Now they will be coming in with confidence after the finish at Louisville today. We may win but it certainly will not be a blowout.

His dance moves down the field after that long TD throw...a total 10 in my book.

Like a **** wounded bird trying to get back up to the safety of a tree combined with a fish flopping on the sand. Mesmerizing

Considering, Mark Richt invited everybody (recruits) and their momma to this game, I believe he will have his team ready and prime for war. All the cards are on the table. The stage is set.

This will be an unusually small FSU crowd and the place is going to be rocking. Our kids will be focused and ready. They know what is at stake.

I want to beat them down like we did ND, but I'm not expecting it for all the reasons already mentioned. They got talent and it's usually always close.

Yes I know all the clic things to say like this is a rival game and anybody can win on a given day but please stop the nonsense. This is the worst FSU team I have seen since before Bobby B. If this game is close or the Canes lose it will.be because the Canes did it to.themselves

Are we talking about the Miami team that couldn't move the ball for the first two series against FIU? That's the juggernaut that will destroy FSU and then do dirty things to Chief Osceola's girlfriend while he cuck cleans up?

Granted when slinger was changed out the O rolled for a bit, but don't kid yourself. Perry goes down or has off game, Rosier coming off bench to save the day? That dominant OL going to bull doze the FSU DL and let Homer and company waltz to 5 ypc?

Oye vey.

Perry needs to stay healthy and have a good game.

While we should never take a rivalry game lightly, let's remember that we beat FSU last year despite Rosier completing only 43% of his passes (everyone remembers the big final play, but that play never would have been necessary if Rosier was even moderately accurate the rest of the game). This year we are a better team than last year, even if we had to play Rosier. This year FSU is a worse team than last year, even with Frenchie back.

What we are seeing is recency bias, both here and over on Warchant. If F$U loses to Louisville - as they should have - we don't start worrying about their horrible team like this. Instead, we're seeing caution, warning, concern. Meanwhile, over at Warchant I'm seeing numerous threads about their team now running the table. Right.

If you guys watched yesterday's Louisville/F$U game, you'd see that Louisville outplayed the Noles and it wasn't even close. Their QB is nothing like N'Kosi and neither is their trash defense anything like ours. I am very confident we beat the Noles, just don't know by how much it will be.

Yep, Petrino's coaching basically handed that game to FSU at the end. LVille outplayed FSU throughout.

We have 13 more TFLs than ANyBODY in the country.

FSU is 125th I’m allowing TFLs.

This isn’t Bobby or Jimbo’s FSU. There will be blood
Exactly. The DIFFERENCE in TFL between us and the next highest team is higher than the TOTAL TFLs that many teams have for the season thus far.

You want to see false confidence go to Tomahawk nation. I’m astounded they have fans that believe they will win.
They can proclaim all they want on their boards...but the true feelings are shown by the fact that they are turning their tickets back in. As seen on CiS...it's easy to be a keyboard warrior.
