Are teams still shocked by our physicality?

SayWhat is correct. The 2nd half of the season there was a stretch where Bain wasn't the same guy as early in the season. I'm not even sure why this is a discussion, it was obvious. He spent a lot of plays where he'd just run right into the OL and get stood up. Maybe he was injured or tired from playing so many snaps. Nevertheless, the good news is that in the playoffs he is back to early season Bain where he is again using his bend to get low and go around the tackles.

None of these other teams play the way we do. I don’t think any of them have been “ready” for it at all. They think they’re gonna be … but they really haven’t been
One does. Heatherman got his first chance at coordinator from Cignetti.

Even after the pick 6 Mario looked like he was ready to fight someone, he also gave the refs a earful a couple of times which was a nice change from the beginning of the season. He seems to have figured out the last piece that he was missing as a coach. What a time to be a Cane!!!! LFG

Thanks, I missed that as I don't typically listen to it watch any of the press conferences. They're generally fluff pieces with the same lines regurgitated.

In game and after game, I've noticed a much more elevated level of intensity from Mario. It's almost like he was content to give the same cliche lines before while being some image he thought was the right one. Now he's being more real, candid, and has an edge to him that wasn't there before. I really feel like the disrespect of us on the outside looking in behind a team we beat changed things with him. He had to fight for our spot and it's carrying over, he wants that respect.
I actually don’t remember if he said it during any of the press conferences. I do remember him saying it on a few of the podcast interviews that I checked out after we made the playoffs. I believe the Kirk Herbstreit one he did where Joey Galloway was on was one where he said it. It was a great watch and Mario was just very relaxed and himself.

Regarding Bain, I think he, like everyone, had a little bit of a midseason slump. But he still was very good comparatively. He also is not the guy to have the highest sack and TFL totals, but this is one area where I like PFF because it shows his contributions.

It’s like when Khabib would fight & guys would think they can handle his grappling. Then he would get his hands on them & they would just have to accept their fate. Because he was on another level.

These teams think they are ready & when the whistle blows they cant keep our guys off of them. Just overwhelming them. It has to be demoralizing.

CFP Mario is my favorite Mario. It's almost like he's been playing possum all season.
