That definitely irked me...not one deep shot or exotic route running in the 2H. Very conservative and bland.
How exactly do you take a deep shot, **** even a middle route, when J Will is playing frogger from snap of ball against DL?
Really. You put a player above the game. And if tate isn't happy, then what? Dumb post.Martell playing was about keeping him happy . I refuse to believe he was the next best option at WR
But I don’t see how you can say are wide receivers are overrated because they didn’t torch a D that was feasting on two freshmen tackles as well as having an 2 very talented DBs in coverage (neither one of those mfs can tackle)
There was no time for them to get the ball . Only ppl who wasted opportunities were JT4 and Mallory . Brevin dropped a tough one but he still balled
And you know all of this as fact? Diaz put the player above the game?Martell getting 15 snaps to keep him happy is criminal and unfair to the rest of the team. Martell had more snaps than Pope, Hightower and Wiggins combined.
Love Diaz but that's how you lose a team over one player.
So you really think Tate played so much because he actually EARNED more time at receiver, after playing QB until two weeks ago ? That’s even dumberReally. You put a player above the game. And if tate isn't happy, then what? Dumb post.
That could very likely be one and the same. If he was a Jr or Sr, I may agree and questioning if he'll get it.Lol now Pope is struggling mentally. I thought it was the playbook. Smh
And you know all of this as fact? Diaz put the player above the game?
I don’t know why this is so hard for people to understand. 2 weeks!!I know for a fact that Martell has been a QB his entire career and in two weeks of part time practicing the position he didnt just became better than the other options we have.
Riddle me this though. How does Martell knows the WR playbook after 2 weeks but Pope doesn't after a full year...Not saying Martell deserved that many snaps but by all accounts he works hard as **** in practice and does everything the coaches ask of him. Pope may have "talent" but isnt a good all around football player or receiver, plain and simple. Still living off the BS hype of his 5 stars from high school, ******* jokeI don’t know why this is so hard for people to understand. 2 weeks!!
I agree, the ball has to start coming out a lot faster. Jarren has to learn how to throw the ball before the receivers make their break. And there were times where he simply held the ball too long. I think his completion percentage was a bit inflated because he took sacks instead of getting rid of the ball.I know this was his first start, but his has to let the ball go quicker. He has to anticipate his receivers coming open, throw them open. As a qb if you know the rush is coming but your guy is gonna come open deep you let it go earlier and maybe put a little air under it. His clock has to get better because I was yelling all game "let it go". It was there all night even with the pass rush. on a side not Enos has to chill with PA or chip the edges.
