Not gonna happen with this kid. If he is waking up at 5am he is most likely praying to start his day. Shows kid is disciplined and comes from a good background. This kid will handle his business on and off the field.

Not gonna happen with this kid. If he is waking up at 5am he is most likely praying to start his day. Shows kid is disciplined and comes from a good background. This kid will handle his business on and off the field.

Agree 100%! Just saying its impossible to know for certain, but the kid looks as legit as it gets.

Not a fair comparison. Coker's staff recruited based off of Rivals' and the Sporting News' star ratings. I believe that Golden knows his NJ kids, and we all saw how AQM blew up the opposition in the All star game.

If AQM had been a SF kid he would have been behind only Thomas in hype, maybe Collins, and to us Canes he would be even more important because of our need for a pass rushing DE. There are kids that start out ranked high and maintain, this kid kept rising in the rankings because he stood out everywhere he played.

Exactly. Everyone bitc*es about Chickillo's lack of production but the kid played way too many snaps. The entire **** defense played way too many snaps, which is why we had no choice but to play so many players.

But at DE, we didnt have anyone that could do even a serviceable job - Ricardo out of shape, Hoilette and McCord tiny, Hamilton coming off an ACL, Cain lol.

I think it would need to be Hamilton, but I haven't heard he's taken that next step. He would be a good choice against up-tempo offenses, since coaches can shift him between a 3-4 and 4-3. As crazy as it sounds, Dye may also be an option. He is listed in the 2-Deep (along with Jalen Grimble of all people). Given he's a 5th-year and showed some grit at TE, I could see coaches giving him a legitimate crack at the bat. McCord is still too light to take too many snaps, Bond is a rush specialist, so can't be relied on for running plays. And we haven't heard a peep about O'Donnell.

As much as I agree that AQM is as ready as Chickillo was when he started, arguably even more so, I would hope our defense has gotten better and we can bring him along gradually like we did with Howard. I have no doubts he'll be a playmaker for us, but I don't want to see him injured against a 300+ point pulling guard, or even a fullback with a head of steam that is trained to cutblock like we see from Ga Tech and several other teams we play.
