AQM AND GRACE DISMISSED FROM TEAM

Lol @ u if you think NCAA had anything to do with the year suspensions...this had nothing to do with the NCAA it was all Miami..If you believe that bull**** about that they came to this conclusion under NCAA rulings or whatever the **** they said you are an *******... Classic overreaction to some phucking rental cars...... GIve them 3-6 games and call it a day.... This University protecting its brand in the media instead of protecting the players future..it is what it is..But i have a hunch that nobody in the NCAA gave them any suggestions on how long they should be suspended. This is entirely too harsh and MiaMI thrEW in NCAA IN THAT STATEMENT to cover themselves and blowback from fans, and community

So let me get this straight although aqm havent been that productive we still expect big things from him the most because of coach kool but now that aqm gone its well he havent done much anyway?

The punishment doesn't fit the crime, but that's Miami all over.

I've no confidence Coley will line up for us this season either.

Devastating news.

Did you not hear we have a new defensive scheme?

Even with the troll gone Admin is still garbage. Good luck to Richt...

Place the blame where it belongs, on the players.

Yup. I'm guessing Richt had to do what he did, or the NCAA would have come down on us.

I know it's tempting, but can't these young men wait another year or two to live it up? Grace and AQM would both likely have been rich men in another year or two. Now, their future is much less clear. This isn't basketball where you can go play in Europe for a year. The adults need to impress upon these guys what's at stake.

And yes, we all know SEC schools get away with this crap. But we're Miami and we aren't as protected from the NCAA as those schools.

And you guys with the " its their fault they should have known better" bs annoyiny as ****, everyone realizes that but to get kicked off the **** team is ridiculous

Those super Luxury cars run like $500-$1200 a day had a dude for prom lst year rent a lamborgini for $799 a day these aint no ford tauruses we talkin about here

What I don't get Vern is why are they fronting. I just graduated college and understand most college kids are broke. Why front like u have it u not fooling anybody.

I had a bad feeling on this ****. If these dudes had those $700 per day cars for anything more than a few days the total amount of impermissible benefits received probably completely disqualified them from reinstatement.

UM also probably didn't want this **** hanging around the program all year while they debated the length of the disqualification with the NCAA. That would be a drag for Richt to be answering that same question all year, and it would suck for the team too.

Then, if you don't trust the info you're getting from those two, you are probably also concerned that if they are eventually reinstated 7 or 8 games into the season maybe you find out after the season that they actually took more impermissible benefits and shouldn't have been able to play at all. Then, you have to forfeit wins and possibly lose a shot at the Coastal title.

It's a **** shame, and I completely understand the lure the players felt. It's pretty tough for a 19 or 20 year old to pass up rolling around in a Ferrari or a Lambo.

I really hope the State goes in on whatever adult it was who caused these guys to lose their eligibility. **** shame. I know the guys are culpable, but 19 and 20 year olds don't think like 30 and 40 year olds.

knowing kids i guarantee you they got it for spring break when everybody was down here on south beach

Butch did the same thing when he took over in 1995. Guys that f'd up he booted... And looked how that turned out?! The greatest team in college history resulted. This will payoff in the long run.

Give that butch stuff a rest Fam lol

Three true freshman on the two deep for linebackers. Not a formula for winning. Last third of the season is going to be rough on defense.

Andrew has absolutely no idea what he's talking about. Kids get free cars all the time. It's a really common thing with boosters of programs who own car dealerships. Maybe a soccer player is doing the loan. A big time football player doesn't have to do that. They can easily get access to these cars in the SEC. It happens at a bunch of programs, and I know this for a fact.

You know I didnt think about it like that with the amount of benefit they recieved you may be right..i rememeber thats why Olivier Vernon got a longer suspension because he received more benefits...well at least his school did
