AQM AND GRACE DISMISSED FROM TEAM

Young men rent cars for free but return them safe and sound. Get removed from the team while Ridley is driving around in a brand new Camaro courtesy of Alabama and I never even so much as heard of an investigation. I agree with the punishment our guys should have known better, but there needs to be equal treatment throughout all of college football period.

Again you are wrong. Those cars are paid for with student loans and is perfectly legal.

$30000 for the car another 3-4K on rims and tires. Stereo equipment another 2-3K. Trust kids aint taking out no loans for that. And if so, it wont be paid back by them

Those super Luxury cars run like $500-$1200 a day had a dude for prom lst year rent a lamborgini for $799 a day these aint no ford tauruses we talkin about here

Dismissed like gone gone or dismissed like they will be back after a couple games?

Again you're acting like if they have the money then everything is legal. They're getting told exactly how to do it. Who to see and it's all covered up impeccably by Bama's compliance department. If you think these kids just grab their cash and head out to any old dealer you're crazy.

They needs cars for internships during the summer. If a student goes to compliance and tells them he is trying to get a car and they advise him to take a student loan then I don't see the issue. Sure it isn't recommended they buy a 20k car with it, but the student has to make that decision.

You still didn't address what I'm saying. You're acting like if they have the money than then there's nothing shady going on. at this point I Honestly don't care because it ain't helping our season. MY point of posting those pics was that there is a way to do it and not get caught then there are a couple of dummies who's school doesn't have those systems set up to prevent this from happening.

Ok, now we have established that Alabama isn't giving away cars bur rather advising students how to do it legally, we can move on to why ALL schools are letting these and other students get worthless degrees.

What the **** is wrong with you? These dudes are getting brand new challengers and camaros with 24s on them and you talking about student loans. Aint nobody getting that much money from no student loan.

You can if you save refunds up a couple of semesters

Barry Jackson just posted an article talking about how they were promising some future earnings in exchange for luxury rentals, and lied about it.....stupid stupid stupid

Barry Jackson is a moron & a liar. Only Quan had anything to do with that. Jermaines situation was different entirely.

As soon as UM gets off of probation they need to fire that entire compliance department. What a ***ing joke they are.

Yes, because last time we got rid of a bunch of staffers as far back as 10 years ago that went really well for the school.

The stupidity one reads on a message board.

You idiot I was talking about replacing the current NCAA nut huggers with ones that know how to get around NCAA compliance issues like the ones found in the SEC.

What type of idiot thinks you need 30K in cash to buy a nice car?

To you even finance?

Well this ****ing sucks.
Personally I though Grace might prove to be the best player on our defense this year. Now we have to rely on a group of LB's that have never played before. And no matter how good Shaq, Pinkney, and McCloud are, or how good we think they are, it would be ridiculous to think they are just going to go out there and perform excellently and wont be making freshman mistakes. Having an entire group of freshman LBs is not going to turn out too great by the end of the season. I can already see how at the end of the year when our run defense didn't perform quite to expectations and everyone is complaining about Manny Diaz's scheme, even though he had an entire group of freshman lbs.

As for AQM, I think he's a bigger loss just because DE is definitely a more important position than LB without a doubt. Especially after an offseason with Kook teaching him pass rushing technique, I really think AQM was going to put it together this year. I guess Trent Harris will replace him as starter with Jackson coming in for pass rushing situations. But ****. I think they'll be fine, but AQM would have been great.

After losing our two best players on defense, at least we keep Coley.

I agree with the former. However, I think Grace is the bigger lost. AQM has more upside than Grace, but we're actually pretty solid at DE than LB. At LB we're paper thin and we're going to rely on 3 LB's - although talented, still freshmen where they'll commit frosh mistakes from time to time. I really wanted to see what AQM could do in this system with a year of Coach Kool teaching him. He'll play in the NFL, but his collegiate career was a massive disappointment.

Andrew I don't know why you're speaking on this as if you know how they are paid for unless you're simply anot sec supporter but you're entirely incorrect about assuming this is how these cars are always paid for. That is an exception made for minor recruits rather than the rule.

That's the lowest amount we possibly could have this season. 2 players don't make or break a team especially with the de depth Miami has

Where is all this depth at? You got harris, thomas, and jackson. Then 2 true freshmen de who are not ready.

Willis and mcintosh can play there too and start

McIntosh is slated to be a starter at DT. I doubt they move him to end. Willis I could see getting major burn at SDE/DT given his body type.

What is the logic in players with one more year left until they hit the NFL to rent luxury vehicles to ride around campus..when in a matter of 12 or 24 months they can buy the actual vehicle themselves...why risk it... because they can still go to the NFL.... but because of their actions they hurt the team

UM is on probation until October. Get a clue about how serious it is to break rules (again) when you are still on probation. Quan has been a screwup since he arrived. Grace is the real loss but he brought it on himself. The only joke is your posting.
