The past 4 seasons (2019-2022) TEs have accounted for 20% of receptions, RBs 14%, and WRs 66%. We're a third of the way through the season and the TEs are accounting for 5% of receptions, RBs 3%, and WRs 92%.Lets not compare any TEs to bowers or what he’s done because uga offense is built around him
Saying a room is being wasted only 4 games in is a bad take
And why tf do we care so much about this, our offense is humming this whole te **** is just people nit picking. If the wr room is being featured more now then that’s just is what it is…But besides that the TEs have been open but they just haven’t gotten the ball, dawson just not gonna say hey this drive throw to the TE lol there are different reads every play
It's not too early to notice that the backs and TEs are basically a non-factor in the passing game. Maybe there will be a sudden uptick in TE & RB targets, but that doesn't seem likely. You don't recruit elite receiving TEs to pass and run block or you won't be recruiting them for very long.
I agree the TEs are open, but they're not getting the ball because they're not the 1st or 2nd read. If your TEs are being targeted only because there is nobody else to throw to (which is what it has been so far) the TE is not important to your passing game. And if your opponent knows that you basically only throw to receivers, you're a lot easier to defend.
.. We top 10 in a ton of metrics but lets switch it up and get ******* blocking Cam the ball.. Maybe if Arroyo ever comes back the same then you could have an issue, until then its a non issue.. We already know what it is and its working so no reason to complain, some players will transfer to better situation for them and it will be best for all parties.
