I’m not nervous but I believe there is a chance it’s going to be a game. FSU scheme is what you run when you want to neutralize a talent disadvantage. If we’re truly a CFP team we handle it

Of course, because it’s one football game and anything can happen. I’m very confident we’re a better team and that will be confirmed over the course of the season, but it’s a small sample size.
Was Ohio state better than Michigan last year? Just a little. They lost, at home, as a 3 touchdown favorite. **** happens. So I’ll be nervous for almost every game, especially one on the road against at least a decent team.
But I do firmly feel if we play clean, we win. 1 or less turnover, and it’s on their end of the field. At least even on specials (no horrendous gaffes, blocked kicks, muffed punts etc). And we win.
If, at the end of the day, we have 1 turnover or less and we don’t have weird **** happen, I think we win. But weird **** happens. It’s college football.

**** no. I treat this just like I treat recruiting when I said if we dont win we can stop complaining about not getting top 5 classes.
This is the same, if we are gonna regularly be in these conversations we must get used to these matchups, and in terms of scale this is not even top 3rd in difficulty. We must get used to playing meaningful games and they become routine. We started 10-0 last season, we should not be giddy about trying to be 5-0. Take care of business and prove we learnt and moved on from last season. Its great to have a defense.
