Assuming we have a very successful season (playoff berth) this year and also assuming good health and production, is there any chance that Bain or Cici would come back in 26? If not, I think there’s a chance we could have 3 first rounders in next years draft.

I’m assuming both would be gone.

On his current trajectory, assuming he stays relatively healthy, Cici is a very likely 2026 1st round pick.
If Beck is healthy and returns to his 2023 form/production, he could possibly play himself into a Day 1 pick.
Even with a great season, IMO Bain's ceiling in 2026 would be Day 2. Measurables will hurt him compared to the field.

if Clemson/Miami have the seasons we expect they might have roughly 8-10 First rounders combined. Surely FSU/UNC/SMU/Syracuse/Louisville/Duke or GT can get a couple more in there.

I know we are trying to leave this conference but in the mean time the better the ACC is, the better it is for us. Desperately need at least 2/3 of the teams above to have Above Average seasons (as well as us taking care of business)

IMO It’s:

1. Clemson
2. Miami
3. SMU
4. Louisville
5. Duke
6. GT
7. Syracuse
8. UNC
9. Pitt
10. Nc State
11. Cal
12. UVA
13. VT
14. Wake forest
15. Boston college
16. Stanford
17. Snub University

I’m just curious…

When you watch CeCe play do you think “Day 1 Guy” compared to other guys we see going Day 1??

I know what ESPN told Kayya and so many others during this time of year

He hasn’t played his Jr year yet but I haven’t seen it, I think he hasn’t reached his Potential yet.
I also feel the same way about Bain.

Mario’s Biggest Recruiting job will be to get the junior class to come back so they can continue to develop and we can make a serious run.

Preseason thoughts

Cici is a first rounder.. Bain if he hits double digit sacks on top of his productive freshman season I think he could be in discussion for sure

Beck is a wild card… he puts up stats and proves he was just on a bad Jawja offense with suspect blocking, no playmakers, and a **** poor OC he could go first round.

Not yet, I think what he has shown is steady improvement. Another year of growth on and off the field would make him a lock. I do remember talk of him being 6'3-6'4 when he committed which could hurt, but the RT from Mizzou was in that same boat.

Lord does lashlee have y'all fooled

Every time someone brings up Kaaya I get upset! We really had a chance to be great if Richt didn’t push him out! We got stuck with Rosier smh. And if Richards didn’t get injured having those two together with that defense! We had a chance at winning it all!
I think Kaaya would have only been available for the 2017 season. He would have been a senior. Student athletes didn’t get 9 extra years like they do now. Yes, perhaps we would have not lost to Pitt and would have made the playoffs that year. Hard to know for sure. Rosier actually ran that offense very efficiently that year, until he didn’t the last few games.

His current trajectory he's a top 10 pick. not just the first round

Being an OL drafted in the top 10 is difficult enough. There have been a total of 16 OL taken top 10 in the last 10 NFL drafts.

Being an OL drafted in the top 10 that plays RT exclusively is even more rare. Of those 16 top 10 picks, only 3 didn't have at least a full season's worth of games at LT (Jedrick Willis, JC Latham, and Armand Membou). That's 3 guys... in the last 10 drafts.

It could happen, and I would never bet against a driven, productive, physical freak like Cici, but the odds are very much against it happening.
