Any chance Canes decline the The Cheez-It Bowl invitation ?

You take the game if only to get the extra practice for the young kids who will need all the practice they can get for Bama in 9 months.

And if I didnt know any better I would think we went 5-5 this year. These kids had 2 really bad games and 1 game that will live in UM infamy but they went 8-2 in conference games only and deserve the right to play one last game and not leave this season with the UNC game as their last game.

Win or lose, I think we see these kids play their a$$e$ off in the bowl game and I dont expect any kids to opt out either.

What’s in the past is in the past. Keeping it positive.

1) extra practice reps

2) Pay day for the school

3) 2021 class already locked in

4) Possible good showcase for 2022 recruits especially if there are some Opt Outs (Roche, Phillips, etc). 2022 is so deep for D-line prospects, etc.

5) Already locked in a solid winning season. 8-2, 8-3, 9-2 - no real difference.

6) Marketing opportunity for players & the school.

7) Get some more PT for the young line backers, D-line and O-line.

8) Kill that bad taste from the UNC game

yeah a program with 1 bowl win in 14 years, and the best QB in 17 will pass on their best chance to win a bowl in ages

It's because there's a weird love/hate relationship with a good many of the posters on this board and by that I mean they love to hate the program.
Hence the virtual jubilation when we lose.
