Any actual comments from Manny after last night’s disaster?

He definitely appears to have overestimated the defense’s ability and I think he’s been a little blindsided by it.

“And now i have to fix the defense again” is what’s going through his mind there where he’s asked about the rest of the defense besides the secondary.

Mannfredo can fix this by hiring a professional staff - notably at DC and ST, as well as get some real recruiters here. But he won't due to lack of program funding, apathy at the AD level, or just stupidity. So here we are, right where we have been for over a decade. 3-stars and bedazzled necklaces have always been the bedrock of any serious football team.

Did you guys really expect Manny to come in & be Nick Saban as a first time HC? That's ridiculous. Problem 1- QB = solved. Problem 2 - OL = considerably improved from game 1 to game 2. 0-2 is tough to swallow, but give the man time to turn it around.
Uhh, hate to be the one to point out that the last time Canes opened season 0-2, about 40 years ago, HeadCoach was SABAN!

Yeah yeah of course not what you meant, and was his 2nd Cousin LOU SABAN!

Even Saban lost 4 or 5 games his first season at Baga. Even though it hurts to be 0-2 knowing that we could very easily be 2-0, we have to be realistic and know that this ain't happening over night.
Like SinCity said, we seen to have found our QB and the OL played much better last night than against the Gaytes. Crazy; how bad our D was at times. What was Garvin doing chasing somebody in motion? Not my best pass rusher. 4th and 17?
Come on man!

Saban went 7-6 his first season at Alabama. He went 6-5-1, 6-6, 7-5 his first three seasons at Michigan State.

Dabo went 4-3 (interim hire), 9-5, and 6-7 before a 10-4 ‘breakout year’. Dabo lost at home to Randy Shannon. He was beaten 70-33 by West Virginia in the Orange Bowl that ‘breakout’ year. The coach of that WVU team is now at a G5 program and just had his *** whipped by Oklahoma.

Not saying Diaz is the next Saban or Dabo. Let’s just see how the season and more importantly how next offseason unfolds.

We don’t have a choice, anyway.

WE NEED NEVIN BACK

Hey, we got the ex-mayor on our side... Nevin doesn't hold a candle to him on third world corruption.....

He led the charge to blow up the OB and build a roofed 40K stadium for a baseball team averaging less than 4K in attendance since then.... can't beat City of Miami politicians.. we roll(yacht) among the best in the business..

It was all a plot to get a better stadium for the Canes.

Trust The Process....

Shhhh, cant say that kind of stuff around here, bro. You know, its 2 weeks in, the only acceptable words to post here are "slurper" and "banner".

For the people saying give him time: you just can’t be outcoached and beat when you have a significant talent edge. Suddenly we change into a pussified stand up read and react d and let them roll over us at will. The problem here is coaching. And a good ceo and hc addresses the errors. We were lost vs a very basic team with two weeks to prep. Bad sign.
As for baker. If he dies he dies. Get a real ST coach. Bye patke.

True but the thing with this team is that it’s always going to see 1 step forwards (qb position) and 1 step backwards (defense). It never ends

LOL...you idiots are reading way to into that video. There was nothing about his demeanor, facial expressions, or body language that was any different than normal other than you could tell he was a little ****ed off.
