Snyder signs a lot of JUCO guys, but that doesn't mean he's competing against top programs for those guys or that he's some sort of great recruiter. His classes are always ranked very low. He's made his name by scheduling weak, developing the guys he gets and running a solid fundamental system.

Exactly. Dudes act like Snyder is beating out top programs for all the guys he goes after. He's obviously a great JUCO evaluator, but he's not a tremendous recruiter, and he has nothing to sell in that desolate **** hole of Manhattan, KS.

We going up against Kansas, not Kansas State. But I think they both hit JUCOs hard, KSU just has Synder who is the king of JUCOs. Like our chances better against Kansas.

Is Terry McCrarys offer dependent on what this kid does or does TM have an offer regardless?

JUCOs and HS seniors offers are usually mutually exclusive.

You bring in JUCOs because you need experienced and mature bodies in the lineup/depth chart.

I don't think they have anything to do with each other.

They don't. It's like Figs, Thomas and Moore last year, it was 1 high school spot left but Figs was a guarantee to play early so he was totally different

How was Figs a guarantee to play early? He hadn't played football in a year. Everyone was surprised by how quickly he moved to the top of the ranks this spring.

How was Figs a guarantee to play early? He hadn't played football in a year. Everyone was surprised by how quickly he moved to the top of the ranks this spring.

Bad wording, but he's more physically mature then an incoming 18 year old kid plus they mst have loved what they saw from him before hand so I am sure they were confident that he'd play early
