Antonio Crawford upset

According to Matt Porter, All Golden said the A. Crwaford issue is an internal matter.

So I am thinking Golden gets it worked out with Crawford an he remains a Cane, especially considering UM needs dB's badly.

Go Canes

Everything with Golden is an "internal matter" SMH!
Okay, I have an "internal matter" with Golden myself. This idiot makes me sick to my stomach!

Internal matter. Upper extremity injury. Tomato. Tomahto. New boss same as the old boss.

Best of luck? Dude quit on The U "cause coaches weren't treating his *** "like gold" - just silver. I say Frenk him.

I would normally agree with this, but given Al's horrific record at losing some many players every year you have got to start shading everything in favor or the player now. Especially since Al excuses his recruiting misses by saying his recruits are "high character" types. Al could not even keep Flowers a fourth year. Olinemen usually play 4 and sometimes stay 5 years. Instead kid takes enters daft early in year loaded with OTs. And, you can't blame an agent for it cause he doesn't have one. How many years of a bad locker-room are you going to blame on players?

Utterly ridiculous to pretend that Flowers leaving for the draft is a knock on Golden. No matter how much you hate Golden, that's just a ridiculous conclusion. Flowers left early, as expected, because he was projected to go in the first round.

Numbers and pattern of behavior give plenty of excuse to blame Al. Add that to kids connection to Duke and reasoning gets better. You can bet the bank that if Flowers had stayed, Al would have had a press conference claiming credit-- again that is his pattern, remember. Granted, Al would not have taken any questions from the press after a backhanded slam to Duke and mom, but the photo op would have been there.

Blaming Golden for real issues is fine. Blaming him for EVERYTHING is beyond stupid. Flowers was told he'd go in the first round of the draft. As the vast majority of players do when told this, he opted to enter the draft. Flowers decision was no different than that made by countless underclass players around the nation every day, under every coach from the worst non-Power 5 coach to Nick Saban.

You like to make things personal. Ignoring attrition as a crucial component to evaluating any manager's performance cannot be measured on a scale of stupid and beyond because it is could only come out of a <80 IQ. Al has made major issue about lack of depth since he got here and used it as an excuse many times. Remember when Randy's players were the one leaving early or was that before your birth. Al's insistence continuity being crucial and his refusal to change anything leaves him defenseless in the face of repeated failures. Your insistence on defending him leads to the possible conclusion that you are related to Al.

If Al was not deserted by so many players every year, your objection would have more merit. Al's history destroys giving him the benefit of any doubt. I suggest you study some statistical analysis methods before you mouth off.

Lol I think Golden should be gone but Crawford is *****ing because he got straight beat out by elder.... We'd have applauded this move in better moves

AC wanted sprinkles on his ice cream. ..and he didn't get them...sprinkles are for winners...doesn't matter if you're gold or silver.

Personal or not, a stupid comment is a stupid comment. Flower's decision to go pro is the same that is made the VAST MAJORITY of the times a player is told he is going to be a first round pick. Like I said, want to criticize Golden for real issues, go for it. Trying to pretend that Flowers leaving is one of them is laughable at best.

Exactly. The fact that we don't have more CBs on the team via good recruiting. Definitely Golden's fault. The fact that Crawford wants to be a starter but has been legitimately beat out by multiple other CBs, thus he decided to pick up and go play somewhere else...that's on Crawford.

No, no it's not. Everything's an internal matter if it brings embarrassment to Golden or further exposes his ineptitude. If he needs to publicize a situation in order to provide an excuse for his failures, he's more than willing to do so. It's all rather calculated and there's still "fans" here that defend the assjole.

idk where it said that crawford was leaving because he wanted to be a starter. i think he just wants to play period but for whatever reason we do not employ nickel and dime packages, so if you'r not the starting 2 than you will rarely see the field.

Anybody know if the kid asked to red-shirt next season, and was told no?

The fact that he is choosing to sit the 2015 season suggests he didn't want to be a 4th corner for his last season ...

If he was graduating, and able to play immediately, I would understand this move .... But transferring to sit likely means he was willing to sit at Miami, IMO ...

He got playing time last season. Bottom line is he is 4th in line as far as CBs on this team go, behind Howard, Elder, and Bush, as he should be, since he's not better than any of them. Many of those criticizing Golden for Crawford leaving would be criticizing Golden for giving Crawford playing time over any of those three.

The thought of riding pine on your last year of eligibility is a crusher if you love playing the game. After this year he will most at likely never put on another helmet. Tough call though to give up on a UM education vs one year of playing D2

Now we'll watch him turn into a beast at Morgantown. Even when our so-called mediocre players get away from this coaching "staph", they blossom unless they are idiots like Olsen.

once again, there is no reason reason he shouldn't get playing time when we are playing against spread formations. if a team goes 3, 4, or 5 wide there is no reason we should still be in base defense. for some reason you're not understanding that. they criticize Golden for this because he's a f*cking moron who think it's better not to go to a dime or quarter package and have a guy like mccord cover a receiver over crawford. so like i said, it has less to do with not being a starter and more about Golden being oddly stubborn and taking away minutes that should be going to the db's that are lower on the depth chart in situations that call for it.

I understand that he played in 38 games and had a grand total of 58 tackles, 8 pass breakups, and one interception. I understand that in his time here, he was never better than the 4th best CB on the team, so even when we had more than 2 CBs on the field, he often wasn't one of them.

He managed to pick off a few passes playing corner in this **** show of a defense over the past couple seasons. He'll probably win the God damned Heisman elsewhere.
