It should be obvious. Don't know the kid, don't know anybody who knows him, but he was probably all Cane growing up and we spurned him. He's probably bitter we didn't offer. His father used to post on Grassy and I always assumed that, if the kid was what his father hoped he was, he would end up a Cane. I'm not saying we should have offered, but it's obvious he's very, very bitter.

Chad Wilson was JAG at UM, nothing special. He transferred from Long Beach State when they dropped their program.

That's a little harsh. I'm pretty sure he started at CB opposite Carlos Jones for the #1 ranked defense in the nation in '94.

Dude, our teams were always made up of a lot of JAGs. Sure, we had our stars, but we had just as many ordinary guys who even started, played solid, and contributed to championships. I've been following this for a very long time, and if I had a nickel for every ordinary, "nothing special" guys I'd be doing pretty well. Yeah, he transferred from LB State, so what? He contributed significantly, even if not a star.

By he way, I think Carlos Jones was a big time recruit, so did he ever go on and become an NFL star? Did he make A-A at UM? He might have been just as much a "JAG" as Chad, which is not to knock either of them.

I think back to some of our '80's NC teams--who were JAGs? Maybe the starting DT, Derwin Jones? OL Bobby Garcia? Guys who never went any farther like Darren Handy, Rod Holder, Rob Chudzinski, so many others...my God, there were so many. I could probably name 50-100 "JAGs" who contributed bigtime during our run over the last third of a century/

Lane, Cook, and Jackson all will bolt.. Lammons and Quincy will rot in Redneckville.. I think we pull a shocker and get Lane to Miami we will get his last visit and his mom wants him here. Cook to FSU and Jackson to Miami his dad is a huge Canes fan. Met Travis Rudolph the kid is not coming here and sorry to say looks like FSU is getting him smh.. He reminds me alot of Rashad Greene.. His dad is all but begging him to be a Cane but the kid isn't listening.. I got a family member who is on staff at Louisville and he says Gayot is looking at Miami and might visit in Jan..

My buddy who is on the staff at Park Vista claims everyone and their mother is trying to get him to UM. My buddy said "The kid really wants to live in the state of Kentucky."

Not sure. Something in the S&C program definitely needs to be addressed. We brought in Dilman prior to the 12' season and changed the program to incorporate more olympic lifts and trying to build a bigger roster. Meyer's program focused primarily on speed and lots of flexibility. Even in 12' we had a stretch in the season where **** near everyone on the team got injured. This year has just been unheard of.

But the injuries are no excuse, Muschamp has done a **** job of coaching. Defense has carried this team for 3 years and he's signed some really nice skill players on the offensive side of the ball but refuses to address the OL problem. For example we've signed 18 DB's the last 4 years, yet we have 4 more committed and are chasing more. Meanwhile the OL is **** and he has 2 OL commits. He needs to go.

I am not sure. I really didn't follow Quincy that closely until he started trending towards UF. The only thing I remember about him before his commitment is that UF had about 3-4 corners ahead of him (Tarbor, Jackson, Lammons) and was recruiting him as a free safety type or a boundary corner type. The coaches apparently had concerns about his ability to turn and run until he came to a camp and impressed.

I don't place too much emphasis on the whole package deal thing. The two biggest factors in landing Lane was Cook and Will Grier. Before he committed to UF everyone thought Lammons was going to South Carolina and he changed his mind last minute due to his relationship with T-Rob. I don't think Quincy has as much influence as people think. He recruits hard for UF but Cook has led the charge for most of our S. Fla guys.

Who Cook? Wouldn't blame him LOL. Cot **** that offense is unwatchable. I wouldn't trust Muschamp to get it turned around at this point unless a hire like Chad Morris or someone of that caliber is made.
