Another Decommit!

I enjoyed Pete’s contrarian takes until basketball season started. That’s when things seemed to go completely off the rails.

It appeared like he was more excited about us beating some no-name, directional school in hoops than when we made the playoffs in football.

He’s allowed to be a supporter of the basketball program. A lot of people on this board are, including myself, but you got to read the room. People didn’t care about “Jai Lucas era” when we were fighting for dear life to be playoff bound.

Mike and Dmoney were fighting like **** to make the case we belong; meanwhile, Pete was just like “ya, there is no point in advocating for us. If it happens, it happens.”

Like what??

There’s also a difference between not sunshine pumping and being super negative. You can criticize the program — but when it becomes the only thing people remember you for….thats a problem. Pete seemed to enjoy being the villain. It was weird.

I appreciate his work over the years. He did a lot for the site. On the other hand, that statement on Twitter is gross. Super disrespectful to DMoney. There is a right way and wrong way to handle this type of situation. That was clearly the wrong way. He needs to take a step back and evaluate how bad that makes him look.

He’s got a lot of growing up to do. And I say that as someone who is the same age as him. I wish him luck.
The Twitter statement was really poor form and very immature. You could tell that their chemistry had eroded over the past 3 to 4 months. There were signs that this was coming. Starting with his discord and followed by his attitude.

Ultimately, if I had to guess, this came down to money and equity. I wish him the best, but I’m not a fan of his work product in its current form.

Wow the hate is real.

Pete gave us the “Little Petey - The Work” dance video which I believe was done while he was at Belen as I recall Pete went there before going to Columbus.

He also gave us “Watch the Finish”.

CIS Classics. Best of luck to Pete.
Ryan Day beard dye rant had me in tears

Pete has an intolerance for sustained success. the moment of stability, depth, or real reward appears, the fear of “settling” or missing something better triggers self-sabotage. It feels like freedom in the moment, but it’s actually a loop that prevents him from ever building anything lasting (career, relationship, skill, wealth, etc.).
**** bro, this **** hit hard lol ouch

🤔
L$U. At least they’ve won something.

Not gonna lie, it did make me giggle. I wonder how many people on this board are familiar with HMart.
The Korean store???
It’s my understanding they’re only on the West Coast. Are there stores East of the Mississippi?

PS. I’m aware that Steve has made some interesting comments over time and likely found the comment funny.

PSS. My morning started out with some pinche pendejo making racism innuendo directed at me, so I felt like being the racism police (briefly) today. I still want to knock that MFs teeth out but I think by Monday I’ll chill out. Slightly.

All the credibility and charm of a not-as-young-as-he-thinks-he-is Gary Ferman with bonus of wanna be tough guy. We are lucky he didn’t kick all our ****s on way out I guess.
