Anonymous former Cane on Coaches, Players

players didnt lose the FSU game. golden pulling his punches did. like i always say. he's like the boxer who just wants to win on points and is afraid to let his hands go.
It goes both ways. Golden went soft as my girls ****, but he also didnt fumble twice, throw an int on our last drive, bat the ball right to karlos williams, or miss a tackle on dalvin cook in the hole then let him run 40 yrds for the game winning score....

no, it was the kids he recruited, he "developed", and "prepped" for the game.

Lol ok.

Former Hurricanes center Shane McDermott, now with the Dallas Cowboys, said Thursday on FM 104.3 The Ticket that the team’s underachieving came from its selfishness.
“Oh, I definitely think that we had some bad blood in our organization, that felt entitled,” said McDermott, a Palm Beach Central alum. “I think we had a lot of selfishness that we needed to get rid of.
“From what I hear from my little brother (Kc, a sophomore offensive tackle), the team is tighter than ever this year. I went down there last weekend and watched one of their offseason workouts. There was no bickering at each other. There was no fighting. It was a really tight-knit group. Everyone was working hard. It’s been the hardest I’ve seen them work in a while.”
McDermott on the defense: “It was an NFL defense. I understood what the coaches were trying to do. They were trying to say, hey, this is what you’re going to be playing in about four years. We’re just trying to get you there … If I was a defensive player, that would have been nice. … We’ve had former players come back to Miami and say hey, this is exactly what we run in the NFL … Players need to study more and understand the defense more … It’s interesting. Maybe dumbing down the defense would help. Who knows.”

So.................in the NFL they run a three-man line on fourth and goal at the two with the LB eight yards back? Interesting.

Torocane: Brock is one of the biggest slurpers on this site. What is Shane suppposed to say when his LITTLE BROTHER is still on the team?? Most players, and former players, won't trash a former coach until a) they've been far, far removed from the program and they have drunken casual conversation or b) that former coach is no longer w/ the program.

The fact is, this team's internal problem is caused from the coaching staff, period. There's not a winning culture that's been installed in this program.

From the very onset, Golden set expectations low; using "pillars" and "process" as a means to keep "winning" in a proper perspective.

From the onset, Golden has used excuses to justify incompentence, and has been a complete hypocrite in regards to accepting accountability.

From the onset, Golden has thrown players under the bus which has no doubt caused friction within the locker room.

We have become a soft shouldered program b/c we've taken queue from a soft shouldered coach....Fact.

@ChristyChirinos: Kirby again, reiterating there's not a lot of "me" guys this year. More team guys.

They are continuing to call the guys who left selfish, hope we do well this year.

I will change my estimate on blame based on this tweet: Players 76.32%, Coaches 1%, message board "fans" 22.68%.

Our players would be motivated to play in a packed house even more so IMO. But coaches definitely play a big role in this so I'd say 45% coaches,45% players 10% fan. Michigan ain't won sh*t in years yet their fans are still packing the big house and are no where near as negative towards our program(players/coaches) as some of the Miami fan base are. Remember we had posters(supposedly Miami fans)telling recruits not to come here, people calling out players and kaaya mom.........

Yawn, every year we hear this

Pass the buck, the coaches do it and have passed this trait to the players . Every year when guys leave the younger guys say they were " selfish" or " not buying in".

Didn't the Michigan fans rally and march across campus to the Presidents front lawn to demand they fire Hoke?

Yeah, our fans are a lot more vocal than that. Good call brock.

I would love for someone to actually name who these "me" guys are so we can all get a good laugh. I'm sure the NFL players are busy and don't see all these comments but I would be disgusted with my former teammates and coaches for putting the blame on me when I was a major reason why we had 6 wins instead of 3.

Telling recruits not to come here, and verbally attacking our star player mom is worse than that....

Somewhat Agree , I would be disgusted and IMO it seems like the ones who have said this same sentiment lately Kirby and Howard in particular Iooked to be close to a bunch of those guys.

To me, that further indicates that it's garbage. They are just repeating the company line ... The same line they have been repeating for 4 summers.

I just can't see those guys really throwing their brothers under the bus. I always thought Duke, Deon, Tracy, Malcolm, and Herb were all tight?!?

I suspect the comments regarding the coaching staff from this team will be A LOT different after this season ...

Kyle Liburd: These players are taking a page from their sports-psych major coach. What has Al done EVERY SINGLE TIME we've lost a game? Throw players under the bus. He'll say "it's starts w/ me" intially, and then say how too many players were out of position, even going as far as saying that some seem to have their own agenda on the field...I mean if our leader are saying these things to justify year in and year out why we are underachieving, then the players are going to have the same mindset.

Same stupid ****. Our team's been throwing exiting players under the bus forever now. Every year we hear about how the group of guys leaving was selfish and there's great chemistry now. And every year they wind up stinking and quitting like dogs.

Remember when it was all Shannon's players' fault? Once the selfish guys like Warshington, Forston, Streeter, et. al. left then we'd be fine. Now that Shannon's guys are gone, it's Golden's own guys who were the cancers. LULZ at this **** heap.

It's no surprise who it is - I'm sure they're referring to some combo of DP, Duke, Chick, EF et al because they themselves were probably so fed up and disenfranchised with losing and not to mention being coached by the corches. Kirby will soon find out.

The coach sets the tone, all this ******* blaming of former players and throwing them under the bus comes from the corches. These ******* coaches constantly throw the players under the bus, it's not surprising then that these kids follow that lead. When the ****** coach doesn't hold himself accountable then how can we expect the players to.

I know who they're referring to but i would love a public mention because I doubt those current NFL guys are keeping up with the team right now
