Guys, what am I missing? Seems we are in if we win the conference per ESPN.

Louisville won’t play enough good opponents to catch us imo. Them being that far behind us was a shock to me.

things that would help us dramatically

oklahoma to drop this weekend vs bama (or let's pray they do) if they beat bama we're ****ed and both remain above us

UGA to beat GT at end of year (need more separation between us and next acc team)

Tennessee to beat vandy (think we'd get in over Tennessee if apples to apples)

a&m to beat Texas at end of year to knock Texas out

clemson to beat Louisville (dont need Louisville getting in over us due to H2H

BYU or Utah to drop another game - both can realistically happen


all that happens and I think we're in safely

icing on the cake would be Pittsburgh beating ND this weekend

3 teams behind us that absolutely are problems

really 2 of them are already ahead of us

1) acc champ is ahead of us
2) g5 champ is ahead of us--- USF lol
3) Louisville - need them to lose so they can't have h2h advantage
 
The Committee has heard from both ESPN and NBC.

They put our Cave Man Coach in Purgatory as a warning: Unf**k Yourself and recognize your team for the Media Property that it is. Basically the Committee told the Hecht the following by putting them at 18:

"We're sticking you at 18 to give you a choice: play your way IN to the Playoffs or keep ******** around and we'll stick you in the Polaner Weedeater Bowl against Fresno State."

I don't think Mario wants that, above all else, because he knows that Recruits like playing football in January.

The sports nets mentioned above KNOW that Miami games draw eyeballs when the Hurricanes are playing with Good Form. When they Canes are a dumpster fire, they can't draw flies. But they are betting that the Canes coaching staff will figure things out and close strong, unlike last year, in which the Defense collapsed. They want a Miami team in the playoffs that's exciting on the field.

Since the FSU game, this staph has played stupid, especially in our two losses. We should be undefeated and a top 4 team looking at a bye. But that's why they play the games.

The Committee, unlike the AP and the Coaches, has given us a chance. I think they're hired muscle for the Networks, but that's just me. And I think they did what they did because they know that when the Canes are "on", they're money.

Let's see if we can fulfill our part of the bargain.

Texas is at Georgia this weekend. We don't have to wait for them to play A&M.

but we can all agree that that's the least likely scenario

acc champ is almost certainly GT, UVA, SMU, etc.

and they all would get in (and jump us)
