Yes he is significantly better. Of course you're the type of idiot to think everything we see every game day is irrelevant I guess. Oh yeah all the other liabilities... lmao. Yall just make **** up.
Tell me where Lyle is proven to have been better. You don't know what you're seeing and its obvious.

Pringle:
85 carries, 461 yds, 5.4 y/a, 5 tds, 0 fum, 3.38 yds after contact/a, 14 forced miss tackles, 9 10+yd runs, 20 1st downs (23.5%)
8 catches on 9 targets, 96 yds, 12 y/rec, 1 td, 67.4% route%, 1.50 Y/RouteRun, 0 drops, 4 forced miss tackles, 6 1st downs (66.6% of targets), 148.1 Qb rating when targeted

vs

Lyle:
103 carries, 566 yds, 5.5 y/a, 5 tds, 1 fum, 3.52 yds after contact/a, 24 forced miss tackles, 13 10+yd runs, 25 1st downs (24.2%)
10 catches on 12 targets, 57 yds, 5.7 y/rec, 0 td, 71.2% route%, 0.68 Y/RouteRun, 1 drop, 1 forced miss tackle, 1 1st down (10% of targets), 86.5 Qb rating when targeted.

hmmmm. Oh and lets ignore 85% of Lyles stats were from his Frosh year in 2024 lmao.

But sure you can't say Pringle isn't signficantly better - especially as a receiving threat LIke I said lmao. Get out of here...
Was this comparison supposed to show that one player is significantly better than the other? Because most of these numbers look pretty even and the sample sizes are pretty small.

But for a guy who has spent a lot of time complaining about our pass protection, you seemingly have no problem slotting our smallest running back in on obvious passing downs to help.

Make it make sense!

I sit in the end zone he was throwing away from and I fully anticipated FSU running back my way with the ball.

That would’ve been awful. We got lucky there.
On the play right before Mallory’s TD run during the 1st overtime, Mensah inexplicably threw a floater to our TE in a broken play, which thankfully was only knocked down. The Noles DB had an easy INT, but he somehow only batted the ball down. That would have ended the game. He needs to make sure that he throws that out of bounds next time. Sometimes that’s the best play. Live to fight another day.

28 points in regulation and I really dislike our pass blocking, especially on the right side of the line.

This is twice where Mensah looked rattled (Wake & FSU). This past week, just bad all the way around until Q4.

Are they really satisfied with that side of the line? It seems we are collapsing on that side forcing Mensah to his left and thus, struggling to throw against his body.

What has the re-watch or all 22 show?
Latest Tengwell video shows this to a T. Killing the run blocking but failed badly with FSU’s stunt game.

"And as far as running backs go, It's a very productive group, and it's probably the best we've been since I've been here at running the football at this point. And so we just need to continue on that and just continue trying to figure out ways to run the football better and better."

2025 (on October 19th)

Rushing Yards Per Game-
86th (133.6 Yards)

Rushing Yards Per Carry- 93rd (3.8 YPC)

2026

Rushing Yards Per Game-
34th (185.8 yards)

Rushing Yards Per Carry- 19th (5.2 YPC)

The schedule has something to do with it, but I think the improvement in the run game is real. The OL is getting better, TE blocking has improved from last year and the Fletcher/Mallory combo is rolling.
No doubt.

For what it is worth, we absolutely do NOT have superior receivers in any sense of the word. I would take last year's group back in a heartbeat.
Id take a healthy cj back for sure but id say we can stop saying every WR group will be better than 2024. This group or last year’s group isn’t close, mali has been carrying

People blaming long developing routes when it’s just these guys are slower and worse at separating

All the downplaying fletch is crazy because this is the best he has ever played in the regular season, just been dealing with injuries. Him and mallory have been playing great

This is the most versatile the run game has been, probably because of how much more athletic and flexible we are on the oline

We played a solid DL slate in UF, ND, FSU, and Louisville all before that date last season. Think the schedule has a little more than something small to do about it. Ha.

I just wonder why we aren’t getting into the pistol more. Mystery to me. I have some hope we continue to build into it like we suddenly did with the WR inserts into last year’s playoffs.
You took the words right out of my mouth with your comment on the competition being skewed as easier this year versus last up to this point. We also matured as a team as the season wore on last year (including O Line), after the SMU loss. Unless the team gels and makes those advances like last year, we cannot expect a similar result (it’s only hope).

We were also healthy last year, so let’s hold on and win these games while we get our guys back and stop getting banged up before the ACCCG.

The fact that people can even think to do that after he willed us to victory in each of those playoffs games is crazy imo. Plus he’s a great leader. He missed a few holes and has been a bit injured since the wake game yes that is true but he’s still playing well.
