We all find ourselves (rightfully so) standing around scratching our heads and cursing over a lot of things going on with this team.

1. Our OL plays like a group of drunk guys on a rocky cruise ship.

2. Our head coach has 6 plays.

3. He spun the QB wheel all season and grossly mismanaged then position.

4. Our punters look like they’re kicking anvils.

5. DeeJay Dallas looks like he ate an actual DJ.

6. We have a first-day-of-pop-Warner-practice level of special teams.

7. Our offense was slow, disjointed, clunky, and horrible to watch.

8. Richt has the sideline demeanor of a man just woken up from surgery and might as well coach in a hospital gown with the *** flaps blowing in the wind.

Now trust me, I know that we all get this. We are all critical of Richt for these reasons, and even my f’ing boy Trustee A is inspiring some hope by letting Richt and the world know we are paying you too much money for this shlt and you better make a change. I get that.

But all these issues deal with the current team and staff. I ask you this: what about the future?

What are the fundamental duties of a big-time, successful college football coach? Recruit. Develop. Coach. Well right now I feel as if a major area of Richt’s duties are being glossed over. He is recruiting at a **** poor level right now.

Over the last 19 years, Miami has only had a class ranked outside the top 25 twice:

33rd in 2011
27th in 2015

2011 was a transition class with the fat slob who will not be named, showing up with 1.5 months left in the cycle; and 2015 came after a pathetic 6-7 season by that same fat worthless *******. Not great company to be in.

Miami’s class is currently ranked 25th on the 247 composite rankings. Rumors are Solomon and Tarquin are wavering. Miami is a place so loaded with talent in the tri county areas that you should be able to eat raw onions before every in-home visit and loudly fart all over the furniture and still sign a top 15 class.

It’s clear Richt is not some sort of Lincoln Riley level schematic genius and X and O’s wizard. That means he has to be a world class recruiter, motivator, and expert at hiring coordinators who are bright.

All programs need talent to win, but especially those headed up by a pedestrian football mind like Richt. He better get his *** in gear and close strong, is what I’m saying, because in the meantime we’re all glossing over this vital area for our program.

So, you’re saying he basically sucks? Maybe but you left out his instructional videos on the proper construction and consumption of a sandwich. That’s got to count for somethingeven if he leaves the crust on

if you can't really coach'em up, you better be able to recruit

and if you can't do either.... uh oh.....

When you’re fresh outta X’s and O’s AND Jimmy’s and Joe’s.

Some advice for, stop getting your panty's in a wad over these nerd recruiting site class rankings, means nothing! Who cares what a class is ranked, its about are we playing good ball or not. Im sure our defense this year wasnt loaded with 5 star rankings from these nerd recruiting sites but our defense as a whole played like 8 stars. The coach richt offensive system is not a quick learning qb system, he's developing pro-style qb's, not jump passing qb's who wont make it to the next level!

Gerald Willis - 4 Star
Joe Jackson - 4 Star
Pat Bethal - 4 Star
Johnathon Garvin - 4 Star

Zach McCloud - 4 star
Shaq Quarterman - 4 Star
Michael Pinckney - 3 Star

Michael Jackson - 3 Star
Trajon Bandy - 4 Star
Jhvonte Dean - 4 Star
Jaquan Johnson - 4 Star
Shelf Redwine - 3 Star
Rome Finley - 4 Star

10/13 guys on defense who contributed most were the coveted 4/5 stars.

And lmao at that excuse for Richt’s offense. Yes, his super elaborate 6-play offense is so hard to grasp. We need more time. Garbage take. As to your last point, no one cares what these QBs do at the next level. His job is to get them to win for the Hurricanes. Terrible post and you should feel pretty embarrassed about yourself. I’ll be by shortly to defecate in your mailbox.

Just gonna play Devil’s Advocate for a second.

If we land Hasselwood and Bogle, as expected, this class jumps to #12.

If we get Stevenson it jumps to #9.

Yes, we need a strong close like this.
Richt needs to wake up and end strong.

Check out the recruiting board...Richt's inability to recruit has not been overlooked.

Real talk...he stinks. He's no better at recruiting than Randy or Al Golden. Just as good at his best...just as bad, at his worst. The invisible hand at Georgia was clearly much larger than anyone probably gave it credit for under Richt.

He's woefully inept at recruiting the lines. Period. That is the #1 thing you need to do in recruiting if you want to compete and he ain't doin it.

This man legitimately didn't recruit - flat out told no thanks - to numerous South Florida 4* players and is now holding his d!ck at those positions.

He evaluates and puts himself into boxes for player archetypes just as poorly as Randy and Golden.

Top recruits in the region barely give Miami a first look, nevermind a second look. Courtesy looks at best.

Just watch the finish of this class...your Terrence Henley types, your Junior Alexis types, your Evan Sherriffs types are comin.

I completely disagree with this post.

Richt is a significantly better recruiter than Randy & Golden and he doesn’t reach for scrubs.

Our average rating per player this class is 89. Last year it was 90. Next year it’s 92.

He doesn’t panic and reach for kids like Knowles and King.
