Here's a play I don't think we went back to enough. This was a "free play" (offsides) where TVD hit Key Smith from the opposite hash. Smith was immediately popped, but made the catch for a relative chunk. I think this particular route appears to be one of TVD's favorite throws. Would love to see it to Smith at least 3-4 times a game. TVD is one of a few college QBs who can even make this throw. It requires less precision than some of the other asks in the new offense. Rambo ate up a whole bunch of yards using a version of this last season.

people don't appreciate how good that throw was. from a recognition and delivery standpoint, that's NFL QB play.

which is why the whole "TVD doesn't have it" chatter is nonsense.
