Amateur S&C Coaches Needed ….

Years ago , I hit a wall training and competing couldn’t increase in anything of my lifts .
I found out it wasn’t the body it was the mind , I was over come with just heavy poundage constantly, HUGE HUGE MISTAKE.

I was fed up , a close friend of mine Bill Kazmaire ( look him up ).

He said take a year off the powerlifting tour , break it down to a beginner YEP knock off 80% off you training weights .

Take everything down to the bar NO weights, we’re reprogramming your mind then body for record poundage.

Example:

Weighted bar dips a SECRET to bench and over all upper body power .

Just body weight (4) set 20 your last rep must be like your FIRST if not drop reps restart again must be brutally honest in every move.

Twice a week

Keep a log of notes on everything

Increase a 21/2 pound plate each week , your mind and body will let. You know everything.

Kaz said your mind is the key to power like no other!

FFWD 1 year

When I did my training and bar dips at George Prince Mr Florida GYM and World gum I hand a crowd in amazement.

I weighed 242 pounds and was doing (3) sets of (10) with an additional 220 pounds (5) 45 pound plates plus on a chain hanging from my waist.

Just a little tidbit on training, not a mirror show

I've been to Prince's Gym many times. I eventually moved in to an apartment that was literally right across Kendall Dr from it but that was right after he sold it and they made it a Ballys. Did most of my training at Paradise Gym. I was in their ads so I got a free membership.

This is nothing but performative cuckery. Any amount of resistance has value for a trained athlete, not to mention one recovering from a simple or complex injury. The doing anything for clicks mindset needs to stop.

Just sharing fun here

Our group (3-4) of us were impressive, USA and state record holders it was a fun time we laughed constantly loved to travel to competitions we always drew attention when one of us was lifting our support for each other was intense and laughable to watch like comedians .

We went into a health food store one day looking for protein shakes and to FEED LOLOL and the owner was there laughing at our BEASTLY presence and offered sponsorship of us because of the brotherhood we shared.

Life stepping in soon and we couldn’t be together much longer after this opportunity.

Anyway “ What a ride “ it was there wasn’t a place that we didn’t walked into that we weren’t the baddest dudes there shear beasts.

Like the Road Warriors LMAO LOLOL

We were at Mc Donald’s one night were all standing there the young kid helping us was just staring at us .

Ernesto a 165 pound USA squat record holder tells the kid pointing to me , telling the kid I’m a Elvis Presley impersonator, I LMAO to tears as this kid s 😳 eyes lit up ask me to sing LOLOL.

What a fun time it was
