Yup, exactly.
When you recruit like them, Bama, OSU, and a few others, losses like this don't matter much. They have two guys like him ready to eat that spot up when it's available.
I responded to someone saying Searles was there and it's good he got out when he did. Guess what, he's going to look far better than he did here and that's because he's got a **** load of talent to work with. Our best player under him, they've got 10 guys like that at Georgia. So does Bama. So does OSU and a few others.
Not only that, they're loaded across the board at all positions at the elite schools. OL is down a bit this year, the backs pick it up. The QB picks it up. The WR's pick it up. The TE's pick it up. The OC calls to their strengths. They're still going to look better than 99 percent of the rest of college football. A bad line at Georgia is still better than 99 percent of the rest of college football.
Saban reloads talent yearly and coaches. Are they all the best coaches in the land? Some are rehabs, some failed elsewhere, but they get to a Bama and all of a sudden figure it out?
Talent trumps most things. When you stack it like the elites do. Combine that with good coaching to even great, you stay an elite.
It's our time, if the recruiting ramps up with the wins increasing. You can't do one without the other.
