ALRIGHT BOYS LETS TALK GA TECH

Their QB is listed as 5'11" 185, take away the FB dive and the RB counters. I'd love for their QB to be forced to keep the ball a lot on option plays. Carter will knock him out along with our LBs

Gt secondary isnt that good and i think kaaya has 3-4 tds. You put up points early on gt and its over. That offense isnt built to come from behind.

This is a game where Jamal carter needs to shine. He doesn't really have to worry about covering. Just play in the box and protect the outside runs while the DTs protect the inside

Jamal Carter needs to shine by not having the ball sail over his head and into a streaking WR's arms because he got greedy looking for a hit and lost his man.

Gt hasn't been as effective as they normally are rushing so far this year. Idk if it's a talent for off or players not executing

Obviously they struggled vs Clemson which is reasonable but we are actually rushing for more yardage than they are and they played mercer Boston College and Vanderbilt so not exact stiff competition

I noticed that too. Normally they have numerous explosive runs every game and run for a country mile. They have looked off this year.

Yeah the key is getting out ahead early like Clemson did.

If we can get up by two scores early, they are forced to break from the triple option and attempt to throw it. Pretty sure I could throw the ball better than that gt qb and it's not even saying much

Take away the dive, it's killed us every time they have beaten us.

That's the key to the triple option. Take the dive away and make them go outside, where our speed is better than theirs. I just want to come out of this game with a solid win and injury free from those **** chop blocks.

Firstandcanes is spot on. We have to stop the Half Back Dive to win. The last time we lost they had that big white kid who ran that HB dive over and over and over. Need to put them in 2nd and 3rd and long.

If LB do what they're supposed to we will be fine. Offensively we may see some more tempo at first. If the D holds up we probably try to control TOP and move away from tempo. But what do I know?

Epi, love the avatar! What state do you work in?

1. Take away the dive as already noted
2. Hit stick and bust **** on their QB every freaking play
3. Get up early on them so they have to deviate from their game plan

We should handle GT easily. I disagree Colbert is gonna be a big factor. He overran several outside runs and whiffed against FAMU. He's a better cover man than tackler from what he's shown thus far. I prefer Johnson, Carter, and Jenkins get the early down snaps against GT. Let Corn shadow their #1 WR and stay out of harms way. The key for UM to win big is Kaaya playing like he did against App State and not the FAU Kaaya. Ole PJ is gonna line up 8 in the box to stop the nations #23 leading rusher, Walton.

Need to score. Need to have a good day on offense.
Make them chase us in the scoreboard and we basically take away the only thing they can do.
