Zo has all the leverage until the moment a new GM is hired. New GM will want his own staff. His own people for now he has Blake up against the wall because of the fans furor. Explains the competing leaks throughout the process. Zo knew he had them by the shorthairs but the clock was ticking. Blake James probably expected him to be fired by the Browns and wasn't. Zo leaks he wasn't interested and called Blake James bluff. Turned up the heat even more. Zo probably reports to Manny but has full control over scouting and scouting staff. Only possible compromise. Great for Zo because he remains unscathed if this thing goes south. He players he will be scouting won't even be viable additions until after the season.
 
I have first hand knowledge that another College coach in S. FL called Zo and recommended he actually sign his contract after negotiating.

whatever his official duties may or may not be, the losing party is Blake James since he would have lost de facto control over the football program, the prize of the athletics department. if manny is smart, he will welcome the move even though he can get away with **** with Blake since Blake doesn´t know the difference between a pimple on his wife´s *** from football, but will now be held much more accountable to Zo because Zo knows football. Manny thinks he´s the smartest guy in the room (he should learn from orgeron) so he´ll be eager to prove this coming year that he learned from year 1. the other winner here is the fan base and the BOT members who care about football.

Losers other than Blake are all of the SJW within the program and the BOT, including Jenn Strawley and her strap-on girlfriend, Chairwoman Bass and Freck.
