Spoke to Highsmith; he has NOT pulled his name out of consideration for UM job. UM indicated it's considering Alonzo&others for chief of staff,but OC priority now. Alonzo said he has a job as Browns VP/personnel&that's where his attention is now but that things change sometimes

And this furthers the dumpster fire that is miami football right now.

Another sliver platter dropped on Blake and he has no idea what to do with it.

Highsmith is an amazing talented Football Ops guy and only Blake could have screwed this up.

Blake has sealed his fate with Manny Diaz.

Clearly he is determined to go down with his ship and he will.

What we saw from Manny this year was Willie Taggart-esqe. You don’t need X’s and O’s to beat FIU, GaTech and La Tech. The fact he couldn’t scream of bigger issues that a simple OC change won’t fix.

Blake thinks he’s saving his job by not bringing on someone who will reveal his incompetence but he’s only serving it up on a platter.

The pressure on him and Manny is going to be insane moving forward. They can not afford to lose a single game and I simply haven’t seen anything from Manny that makes me believe that’s possible.

Wait so Omar Kelly was wrong again? What a surprise! I never believe anything that guy reports, unless he is reporting something that has already been reported by 5 other reporters before him.

Again, as is usual to these situations, there's likely more to the story than is being reported.

For me, I'm not going to get lost in my feelings based on an initial report which is usually one side trying to spin the narrative to their side.
