Alonzo + Mario

Miami ohio is not FaMU this is against a division 1 football talent and we looked dominate on defense and this shows that they increased the talent and toughness and that’s what Miami has been missing! These players know they are better then the team across from them! Kudos to Mario and Alonzo

I’m gonna give it a few more games, but there was a lot of porsters clowning Alonzo and his evals over the offseason….
Last year’s class was top 7. Those guys are ranked and good.

Colbie Young is the best eval of an unknown in the Mario era. Mauigoa Sr, Lee, Cohen, Mesidor… those weren’t unknowns.

If you’re talking about a bunch of these lower rated recruits we have in this 2024 class, it doesn’t change that we’ve whiffed thus far on multiple primary and secondary targets, save a few. We’re going to have to wait a few years to see how the Russell ‘s and Plazz’s turn out.

Great win for all though tonight.

Last years class was loaded. They showed a graphic during game that we had the 3rd most ESPN top 300 recruits in last years class with 15

Lee, Cohen, Harrell, Cloyd, Cisco, Deen, Ajay Allen and Brown were all transfers who will have significant roles this year

Colbie Young and Anez Cooper were lower ranked recruits who are both starting, today, after one year in the program.

Now, we also have players like the DB from Iowa who is now back up north

You can't win them all, but, in regards of evaluations, we seem to win more than we lose
