Super successful executive in the NFL who has the experience to lead a large organization. At the VP level he probably makes less than 500k/year and I feel like you could at least double that for the private school P5 AD position. Would be great at fundraising for the university. More job security than working the NFL.

Been vocal about this already, but I think it’s an ok idea that at the very least makes way more sense than hiring a clueless nitwit like Blake.

It COULD end up paying dividends, but hire the best man available for the job period - alumni status/previous affiliation with the university be damned.

Would be great but He’s already an nfl front office executive and will move up those ranks soon too

Considering his post playing job experience, not the craziest idea on an Alum job....

You already mentioned 'successful' and 'NFL' in the same sentence.....

So that's gonna be a massive 'NEGATIVE GHOST RIDER' from Mr. Highsmith.

He would sound exactly like Venables did in '15 when he was asked about taking the Miami HC job.

I'm not totally opposed, but would rather hire a successful AD. I don't think the job is that complicated, but also don't think you want someone who hasn't been on that career track just jumping in. Love for AH, though.
