Allison transferring

Something about our former QB being happy on social media for leaving the program rubs me the wrong way. You can call them and text them. You don't need to put it out there for everyone to see. Meanwhile our grad transfer CB was recruiting everyone to come to Miami after the season ended. That's a true Cane. Kaaya can kick rocks.
Kaaya is a true Foldenite, always has been & always will be.

That's why I laugh when people say we would've won 10 or more games had he came back for his Senior year, I honestly don't believe he has it in him to lead a team to that kind of success.

Difficult not to infer some passive aggressiveness from Kaaya to Richt & staff. Perhaps rumors of his unhappiness with the staff were true. It'd better explain the atrocious and seemingly emotional decision to go pro.

Richt wasnt his guy and vice versa. Cant expect them to be buddies. None of the upperclassmen liked Golden either when he came in. Just the way it is.

I am not on social media so maybe I am not privy to exactly what is being said by Kaaya.

Do I think he loves UM? Yes...But do I also think he blames Richt for using him wrong and in turn killing his draft status? Absolutely. **** many posters on here didnt understand why Richt wasnt changing the offense to fit Kaayas skillset.

I am sure this is just one guy wishing another guy the best of luck and happiness and if that isnt at UM? Then so be it. I dont want anyone wearing the O&G if they dont want to be here. Not putting a gun to anyones head anymore. Not wishing them luck but I cant tell someone else not to either.

If Kaaya thinks Richt ruined his draft status, he has little to no self-awareness. Could he have been used differently? Absolutely. Do I wish Richt would have learned our players' skill sets and adjusted quicker? Sure. Kaaya seemed to work best when there was a script, for example.

But, two of the primary reasons Kaaya's stock crashed were (1) his tape working within the pocket is pretty poor and (2) he doesn't have much evidence of winning important games. Those are two things he could have at least somewhat improved by coming back. Kaaya mostly has himself to blame for ending up a 6th round pick.

Allison will only be the first of many. I think Testaverde stays out of legacy and Weldon for his frosh year. Beyond that, I can't see any reason why the others should or would stay.

Richt and Kaaya may not have been each others first choice, but they were probably each others best option. That's probably a lesson Richt learned through experience and Kaaya was blind to it despite all the signs. Given how well Richt's adjustments worked the last 5.5 games of the season, I would think him content to let Perry simmer a year while he rolled with Kaaya.

The bigger fool in all of this is Allison. Every tool but one was working in his favor to win this job, except for the one he couldn't keep in his pants just long enough to study the playbook a little. Maybe the girls at WVU are sufficiently ugly that he can balance this a little better. Something tells me this isn't his last transfer.

So are all the bytch boys who believed the lame narrative that he left because our HC prefers a mobile QB ready to admit that was bullshyt? Hologram asks his QB to run more than Rick ever has.

Pretty clear he left because Richt is running this place like UM again, which means the kitchen became a bonfire, too hot for some. And no, they won't.

Colbertson is 1000x more Cane than Kaaya.

The NFL Draft told the story of what everyone thought of his skill set. It is a league so desperate for passers, it takes Hackenberg in the second round. That isn't to say that a 6th-7th round pick can't become a pro starter...Trevor Semien did it last year...but every scouting report of the kid that came out basically said...he's not really good at anything. Just kind of average in all facets. They couldn't really mention anything that stood out as he transitioned to the pro game. That is very very weird. Most teams can at least pop for one attribute of a player. For Kaaya...crickets.

Exactly. Shows that allison's dad was just trying to save face that sunshine was 3rd or 4th string and didn't want to complete.

Alabama recruits **** and ***** studs every year at QB, and they all transfer out.

Keep recruiting, and don't worry about if they leave. If they leave, they are most likely a miss in the first place. QBs transfer all of the time. I wouldn't worry about the narrative and I'm not really upset Allison is leaving in any way. He wasn't going to play here unless there was an injury or two. That has nothing to do with his talent, just whats going on here. Perry is getting every chance to start and you've got a lot of the same type of guys vying for backup duty.

I've said it before and I'll say it again.

Nothing against Allison as a person, but as a QB he's just not that good, and that became clearly evident to our coaching staff.

I'll gladly take the L if I'm wrong, but I seriously doubt he ever takes meaningful snaps as a P5 QB.

This is just fact

Agree 100%. But you know kids always want to blame everyone but themselves. In his mind, if Richt had run the offense he ran in FSU when Weinke was there in the last 90s-early 2000s he would have been a first rounder. But he wont accept the fact that he never won a game that mattered (well maybe the WVU bowl game...maybe) and he has zero pocket awareness and less then zero mobility.

I'll call it before it happens.

If nkosi Starts
Rosier and sheriffs both transfer.
Not really going out on a limb there

Does Sitkowski stick with the class if Nkosi starts?

I doubt it honestly and I wouldn't be surprised if cafe Weldon left as well. These kids don't want to sit behind anyone anymore they'll only sit after they transfer and figure out that the coaches didn't have anything against them but that they actually sucked that's it.

So we can only have one scholarship QB on our roster? Why doesn't this happen to other teams.
