whats with yall thinking alumni's of schools like Brohm/Brent Key are just gonna pick up an leave their schools to solve problems at schools with high firing rates and delusions.

Like why would Brohm who is born in Louisville and played there leave his dream job...****** mario was beggin to leave oregon to get here.

hes not leaving lville. this is his dream gig as you said.

key is building something at tech and if they continue to get the metro ATL support from the money guys there, they will be a contender within the conference.

Key is widely respected by the agents advising top prospects. And his players apparently love him. I think you’re way off base here. Proof is in the pudding. His teams execute and compete weekly.

I mean PSU doesn't really have a high firing rate.
If theyre happy there they are happy...

what do u mean they will be a contender?....they are a contender this year high chance they are winning it this year. lol

there is gonna be a drop off though...because i dont thinkt hey are recruiting at the level and need that haynes king type of qb that isnt always readily found...and they also are a farm schoolf or sec programs so not sure how long term their success will be
 
Fisch is the proverbial "unsexy but solid" hire that gets them steady wins but not the flash or ceiling they crave.

personally, I don’t see Lane Kiffin, brohm (hes a Louisville alum), or Key (GTech alum) leaving. Theyre winning at their schools.

JoePa was the all-time winning HC coach in college football. A couple national championships. That’s more than “ outside of a few seasons with JoePa a million years ago”.

1.) The man was the HC for almost 50 years. I’d hope anyone that is allowed to do something for 50 years becomes the all something or they aint worth a fvck.

2.) He/PSU won 2 natties, the last one being 30 years ago. That is literally, “a couple national championships”.

3.) Yes, mother**** PSU and everything they stand for and anyone who defends em. I won’t take it further and disrespect the deceased in this case but that man knew wtf was going on just like every HC knows of everything that is happening within their program. But I digress…

Pate seems to think they're focused entirely on Lane and Drink. They're not discussing anyone else as of now. Or at least, they're not targeting anyone else, if they have half a brain I'm sure they're vetting a ton of candidates. But, according to him, he thinks they have Lane, then Drink, I believe in that order, as their Top 2 candidates.
