Lane barely out recruited Miss St.

2022: 8-5 losses to unranked: Miss St., Texas Tech, Arkansas, and LSU; only one ranked win (vs Kentucky)
2021: 10-3 with only two ranked wins: vs Arkansas and A&M
2020: 5-5; first year at Ole Miss & COVID year but losses at unranked: Arkansas, Auburn, and LSU

I don't know what this board sees in Lane Kiffin as a head coach. And it sure as **** isn't his high school recruiting or BIG WINS. But since Ole Miss loves him, they will offer a huge extension to keep him.

Here I go with the "I heard from a guy" but I heard that some of the big shot callers there don't believe that Lane is a true possibility and don't care for Franklin.
They believe that a realistic choice that would do well would be Fisch. I agree with them.
However, a few are fixated on Lane as well as their stupid fanbase so they might have a hard sell going with Fisch over Lane. This is assuming Lane would take the job.
 
I’m glad that list is out there so when they strike out the delusion will be on full throttle.

Interesting about those 3 names (Lane, Key, Drinkwitz) is that they all are likely playoff teams (at this point). Could mess up the timing.
 
Ultimately comes down to what the coach they target wants. There were rumors that Cignetti is not a Penn State guy even though he is from PA.

Whatever Ole Miss is down to throw at lane matters 0 if lane actually wants the UF job.

This isnt the NFL where the franchise tag is in place or the NBA where supermax is alluring enough to keep players.

Gonna come down to if Lane wants to coach UF or not.

It’s never the first guy who is the favorite. I don’t see how Brohm would be any different from Mullen, as much as I like Brohm. He’s an exceptional X&O’s guy who is weird af and not really a recruiter.
Key, they’d run him out of town in 3 years. He needs to just stay at Ga Tech and pray he gets another Haynes King. His bully ball, ball control **** would not work in the SEC and would put UF fans to sleep. Drink is interesting, and I think he’d leave Mizzou but who knows. Don’t care that much honestly, we have our own race to run.

the daughter made a whole power point... and put it up in the teams meeting room which made kiffin cry.......this was on his doc.

I dont think he is leaving ole miss for uf...in the doc he spoke on stability right now being very important to him/ These coaches lie....but it appear this decision isnt just his...its his kids and even his ex wife cause even she moved to oxford

which is why i laugh everytime when they say sh*t like key should go to wisconsin key should go to this place......

Key is a gt alum and hes from Birmingham which is **** near a suburb of atlanta....what reason would he be pining to leave gt where he just needs to win 8 games and be a god with no stress to go to uf and get fired in 3 years because he essentialy runs the wing t offense lol
