Nah, it makes plenty of sense. Part of this "fanbase" should never involve themselves with UM again. They're part of the problem. The whole #canesham group and their types are complicit in this mess and should have their noses rubbed in it. The people in our fanbase who chose their love for a coach over UM need to eat ****, not be welcomed into the group of UM fans who actually care about the football program.

You're wrong in thinking a lot of people were choosing Al Golden over the program. I was not getting my hopes up because I loved Al Golden. I got my hopes up because I just wanted there to really be something to be positive about and took a 3 game stretch as a potential turning point. I only wanted Al Golden to stay if the trend continued. It obviously didn't and I want the guy gone as much as anyone else. You're reaching if you truly think people were actually picking the coach over the program. Maybe some were, but I know I was not.

Go ahead and argue whatever you want. I know exactly how I felt then and I know exactly how I feel now. I never once was choosing Golden over the program. I was only looking for signs things were changing and I was desperate and reached for some signs. Nothing more. If you can't understand that, I am sorry.

If you think I was apologizing about rooting for Al Golden at one point, then I question your reading comprehension. Anyways, there is no reason for me to continue arguing with you. You're truly reaching in thinking I was picking Golden over UM. That's all there is to this.

In a lot of ways last year could be considered year one due to the cloud. The RS Seniors were not his recruits. I think he deserves at least one more year to right the ship.

WE have nothing to do with it. Neither do YOU or ME. It is BOT and Donna. They have gotten exactly what they wanted-- just a little to much of it and not exactly the reaction the would have hoped. They do not want our old Canes back. Personally, I would like to see them shot for even thinking that way, but that is the truth. Foote had the Pell scandal, Donna the Nevin -- not one thing happened to either. Thrill Hill does a little dance at a football game and the president of the university, ironically the same dumass who presided over the then great scadal ever, come out and trashes the entire team. Foote and Donna both embarrassed this institution beyond belief and nothing happened to them. That is on the BOT. Let's stop blaming each other when we are all meaningless.

That is true. A specialty of theirs. It is because of the seemingly insane thing that go on. What they claim they want is never done but what they secretly want done is. Everyone yells and scream they are stupid, but is only because it is hard to believe their true objectives. Remember what FRD said: "There are no coincidences; if it happens, somebody planned it." Keep that in mind and their actions becomes understandable. Why they want something is a little harder to figure out.

We all agree he sucks. I give you credit for figuring it out before me. I admit it took me till the Louisville game this year.

But at this point why rub others faces in it? the fanbase is all united finally and threads like this just try to divide people.

Oh baloney, most of us were concerned in one fashion or the other. The guy inherited a mess. I think he fixed some things administratively and it looks like he's created a bigger mess in other areas. He's been given a full 4-years to make progress. His team absolutely collapsed the last two games. If Miami finished 8-4 and won 5 out of the last 6 games, then a lot of folks wouldn't be happy but at least Hecht had an argument for retaining him. Right now they have absolutely none. He needs to be dismissed because right now he is a dead man walking.

What has Golden fixed administratively? Because I don't see it. More players leaving the team than Shannon, more players arrested and round about the same recruiting. What has he fixed?
