Mario would be my first choice to replace Al because he has experience as a head coach and is a phenomenal recruiter with great connections down here.

Mario Cristobal will almost certainly be the next HC if AG is fired. That is how Shalala and this administration rolls.

Not sure if he would consider, but Chudzinski could be a good hire.

UM ties, brings a coaching dynamic to the table (ability to run an offensive), understands the pro's and con's of coaching here. Like him better than Cristobal, though I wonder if he could persuade Cristobal to join his staff.

If I could id neg this every day for the entire season. This team needs an elite proven coach or established NFL coordinator.

Anybody who suggests anything else has no clue.

**** that he got canned at FAU or whatever dog **** school. How could you even consider him? He is at best an assistants head coach and position coach.

At this point, I wouldn't mind Cristobal. What some of you guys fail to realize is that, Miami can not afford upper echelon coaches! Chuds would be a good hire, but he would bolt the second an NFL job came calling. And the same probably goes for Schiano. Cristobal did pretty well at FIU and he knows what Miami was built on, and that's speed on offense and an aggressive defense. He would be able to keep Ice because of his recruiting values. I would love any of the other viable coaches that have been thrown out there, but Miami is no longer a destination job. IMO

It will be Mario. It is inevitable. All you need to do is look at how this administration has handled the last few hires.

They will make a run at 1 or 2 bigger names, Schiano/ Chud, if those guys don't bite, they will immediately run to the "safe" plan B choice, which will be Mario.

Remember that Al Golden and Randy Edsall were the finalists last time around.

Anyone who thinks we are going to hire a Narduzzi, or Butch, or Sumlin or guys like that is living in a fantasy world.

A city league pop warner coach would be better qualfied than AG and staff
