when did everyone become so down on Nickel?
When he signed, everyone was stoked by it. Kid was an absolute gamer in the highest class of football in talent rich Georgia. Kid won multiple State Titles and was Mr. Football.
He doesnt need to be all-world for us, he just needs to be a game manager.
Weird that all of a sudden he can't even be that for us.

Exactly, Seaton along with what we already have coming back.....would make most average QBs look good ....Wilson, Blount ,Lightfoot, Lowe and Pickett on the edges would be insane....

Board experts: How does Nickel compare at this point with Emory in terms of physicality/athleticism and QB skills? Who'd win a battle this Spring and Summer for the starting job? Any clarity to be had on that?

Why is that? You can't make a guy that looks utterly lost almost as soon as the ball is snap, not be so. I don't care how much you work on it over and over. We all see it every time he plays, we can't barely move the ball. Great guy, insane heart.....but we aren't going to win alot with him at QB. Wish that wasn't the case but it is.

It is a bit puzzling - of all the years, Miami has the most momentum this year, being in the upcoming National Championship game and 2 previous portal QBs having success in Miami.

True but he really hasn’t had an opportunity in games or in relief for that matter. Not saying he is the chosen one, but if they were just gonna hand the ball off with Williams and try and occasional pass here and there I would pull for Nickel in that situation.
