AI Update

Great news on Rumph.

Just when you though his recruiting couldn’t get worse. He’ll now have to deal with kids thinking he’s most likely to be fired.

The ineptitude of Manny and the Admin is remarkable
That could actually be a great selling point for him. Recruits clearly don’t want to play for him so maybe he can sway a few by telling them they won’t have to play for him.

Maybe you forgot but Hurlie Brown and Barrow were on UM staff and didn't have any better luck in recruiting than right now. Maybe even worse..
I remember, and they were waaaaay better than what we have.

The biggest problem is Manny. He still doesnt understand S. Fl prospects and continues to discount production and speed in favor of size.

Manny is a lil ***** and is playing favoritism, how tf you just gonna get rid of the coaches on the offensive staff but not get rid of the coaches that are underperforming on the defensive side of the ball. It is true that the coaches on the defensive side of the ball are his buddies and he is clearly blinded by stats. He really believes that his defense is elite and he will bring up stats to prove it. SMDH, he clearly has no vision or insight on what it takes to be a championship caliber team.

Golden did this exact same thing. Can't remember if it was yards per game or points allowed, but he was using one of the two in an attempt to show recruit's parents that the defense wasn't as bad as it actually was.

This is what worries me the most about Manny. He's doing a lot of things Golden did, but in year one.

FWIW, AI didn’t say Rumph was safe, just said he didn’t know how accurate the reports of him getting fired were and that as of Saturday he was actively recruiting for the Canes, which really makes the whole update sound like BS.

Actively recruiting for the canes....lol!

Are you really comparing Golden’s D to Manny’s D?

Ahh yes, "yards don't matter." He tried to promote the bend (yards) and show that it didn't break (points)
Another classic Miami corch quote.
