Am I the only one that sees the Troll job going on here? I am disappointed that so many have taken the bait... Y'all are better than this. There is NO basis for his claim. He is just throwing vague comments out to get people riled up. Bring back Butch right!?!?!?!

Ahmmon the alchemist. Making Gold out of straw.

I'll miss you and always consider you a Cane no matter where you end up.

If ya don't know. Now ya know.

1.) Richards would 1000% get drafted if he were to never play another down. It would be late, but he would definitely get drafted.
2.) The kid is hurt, really hurt. You all will see soon enough.

I tried to tell em..he's out for the season

If I nodded my head in agreement to this any more than I am right now then people would think I'm having a seizure.

We're about 2 mins away from some clowns around here claiming that being signed as an UFA and getting invited to ANY training camp is always preferable than returning to school.
This board is full of shortsighted losers who would think they hit the Lotto if they got a $5k check to sign for a week as a free agent.

And to make a practice squad as a 6th rounder??? Forget it! That’s like some George Jefferson “movin’ on up to a deeeeluxe apartment in the sky” type ****. Set for life!

My guy at Hecht won't confirm or deny anything about AR. In fact, he won't even pick up the phone or respond to my emails, tweets, texts or Instagrams.

I might have to just head over there.

Forget the guy go direct to office poon they have all the power believe me office poon's got all the answers.

I think it'd be absolutely moronic for him to leave. I never said once, nor would I ever, that he SHOULD leave. He absolutely, positively should not.

But I think he will because I think he can still be drafted high enough to make some money. And the kids at Miami have made a career out of poor decisions like this. I hope I'm wrong and he doesn't follow suit, but I wouldn't bet on it. IMO he's gone. We'll see.
Now that’s a totally different subject. I too would definitely bet on him making a stupid decision and leaving early based on UM history with early entries.

If anyone is wondering wtf is going on, there are rumors floating that Richards sustained a very serious injury, possibly career threatening.

And Ahmmon Richards will be drafted due to his athletic ability. And I'm fully aware he played basketball, but you did zero to dispel my thought, which is it doesn't matter how much football you play. Richards won't come out because he only played 1 year? This dude played none years and was drafted. Again, it doesn't matter. I expect him to leave and I expect him to be drafted because he does have some tape and he's going to test very well. Similarly I expect Travis Homer to be drafted higher than what you'd think his production would dictate because he'll test well. They don't care how good you are in college. I can't stress this enough. The NFL thinks they can teach you to be a good player, they can't teach you to be a 6'2 200lb WR who runs a sub 4.4 40. Ahmmon reminds me a lot of Chris Godwin....I think they'll put up similar combine numbers and somewhere in the 3rd round is where I expect Richards to go, just like Godwin.

The NFL actually cares significantly what you do in college. No one here is saying that Ahmmon wouldn't get drafted, but he's a 1st round talent that wouldn't get drafted until well into day 3, maybe even an UFA. That's millions of dollars he's leaving on the table. But AR has the injury label around him right now.

Ahmmon at this current juncture wouldn't even sniff the 3rd round. You need to lay off the glue if you think that's happening.
