Really don’t understand how more situations like this don’t exist lol guess the other “contracts” are pretty loose

We don't know for sure that he'll miss spring.

We also don't know for sure that he can't enroll. Just cause a NC judge says he can't, it sure how that effects him enrolling in to a Florida uni.

This all could be settled on the 2nd as well. Or pretty soon after.

So I would just not assume he's not available until summer.

Also this wouldn't stop him from working out with our guys tbh lol

I was more thinking because the last day of add/drop has passed for UM spring enrollment right?
 
Went back to see how Barkate ended up at Harvard because he doesn't look like just the savvy, try-hard receiver a Harvard --> Duke path would have me believe.

Seems like he was a legit P4 prospect who was offered by and considering school like Notre Dame, UCLA, Arizona State etc. until he got hurt his junior year.

Not that it's terribly relevant given that was a while ago and he's been highly productive in a power conference already, but just another piece of info that has me really excited about this one.

Have to think Miami will make special arrangements for a kid being held hostage by an abysmal football program

Rumors are Miami is going to bend the rules to get him enrolled for practice. I think Pete said it on the pod and some others implied it as well.

Yes but they likely make an exception for him due to circumstances where he wanted to enroll in time but couldn't due to the TRO.
 
Ok didn't realize that this guy is ALSO a dude Duke just bought from the portal themselves.

The entrance to the Duke football facility should have these words enshrined over it:

"Portal Pickups for Me, not for Thee"
