2. I don’t base my opinions on whether they give the canes credit or not. I legitimately rarely pay attention to many of them because, like I said, their analysis seems to failto consider actual football plays. What do I care what some wahoo who doesn’t understand what they’re looking at ranks Keionte Scott because he doesn’t understand he’ll play a completely different role at Miami than he did his prior year at Auburn. I try to watch the plays and comment accordingly. And, I try to engage with the people who do the same. There are some great ones. We have a good one here in
@Lance Roffers. You can look at attributes, fine. But, also consider the football field (with pads).
I didn’t pick out Ivins or anyone in particular. I picked out a growing pattern to FAIL to look at prospects as players with roles wearing pads. Evaluators seem to pay more and more attention to 7 on 7s, shorts, and attributes over taking the time to watch the games. I think that’s nonsense. Whether they rank Miami guys highly or not.
