AFTER A&M what is our record CIS?

I feel better about claiming 9-3 but we also don't know how bad A&M is/will be.

Last year after we "hung" with them for the whole game but kept shooting ourselves in the foot I still felt like we'd go 8-4 or so and it just turned out that A&M was a bad team that went 5-7 (with a bunch of close losses).

Awesome!

Messidor was in a boot during the game but he was moving well in it. Looks like an ankle/foot issue.

As far as the results/schedule for the remainder of the season . . .

Maybe I am overselling yesterday's performance, but the results of this season seem to hinge more on us than them. In other words, the schedule doesn't seem as formidable now as it did before the season. Clemson is meh and UNC was beatable last year. UNC has a generational QB but otherwise that roster is so-so.

I think the results this season will hinge more on our team. The physicality yesterday was remarkable; however, can we sustain that level of play or will we succumb to injuries? Obviously, we have some injuries already. And the depth is already thin at some spots.

We play the next three to get Horton, Moten, Washington, Wayne, Bain, Harris, Williams, Brown X2…lots of reps while getting the others healthy on D before UNC. I’d be good seeing lots of the freshmen LBers allowing 51,11,23 to remain healthy with less reps.

Heck, arroyo, Zion, and Citizen can get another month off. Let the young and healthy get reps to build quality depth.

As I see it:
Kam - hopefully just a concussion
Fletcher- same
Mesidor- pretty sure it is the same injury so give me more time.
Deen- hopefully a minor sprain
Kelly- ankle/foot
Young- knee or upper leg bruise from Ohio game

Others
Arroyo- acl
Citizen- acl
Zion- knee
Harrell- foot?
Skinner-??

Before the season I said the Canes will surprise a lot of people and win 10 games. I'm sticking by that prediction
My prediction was 10 wins even if it takes the bowl game to get there. I’m feeling much better about that prediction this morning.

Also, 11 or 12 wins is within reach, but there are a ton of factors that will play in between now and then.

Still think 9-3, 10-2 would be nothing short of incredible even after we’ve reset expectations

we just beat the most talented team we’ll play all year but they are far from the best. FSU, UNC, and Clemson all better than A&M I believe
Agree, and of course, we play NC and FSU away. But no doubt, UNC, Clemson and FSU will be tougher games than TAM was.
