Adidas x Bape x Miami Collab?

Facts. I remember when we were kids the Bape air force one looking sneakers were all over the place. Cassidy always wore them and schit. Now the only thing i see rappers really wearing from Bape is that full zip hoodie with the face on it or the shorts with the face on it.
The bapestas were the shoes. Their Adidas nmd have a high resale price and their purple camo are their big thing now. Also accessories with them and supreme have become the new hotness? Ash trays, bath rugs, lighters, and dumb schit is big business.

I really don't care for what everyone else "calls for" tbh. I form my own opinions on things.

I would be down for traditional uniforms if that is what the brand was built around and what we were known for, but it's not. Miami has always wore modern uniforms. There is really no debating that. It's fact.

Our uniforms are the best that Adidas produces and that is a fact. We're not known for anything other than winning, this "modern" uniform **** is nonsense. You have referenced Louisville before and they're wearing their own version of what we had in 2015 - terrible. This is Miami football not some mid-major.

I see a ton of high school kids rocking Bape on the subway in NYC. I don't think some of you understand how popular this is right now. Plus it's better than that recycled trash we wore last year.

WTF is that?

GI Joe's sperm...

It's popular, should be used as recruiting tool, should be given to the players if they want it. No one is disputing that.

Keep any bape off of our jerseys, that's cheesy.

I agree we shouldn't mess with our jerseys because right now they're the best they've been in years, but IF we have to due to some contractual obligation with Adidas, then I have no problem with this because I know this will get us recruits and young fans.

U saying we have the best uniforms that Adidas produces is, IN FACT, not a fact, that would be an opinion LMAO. I'm glad u are paying attention to sh*t I said a month ago though, let's me know I have your attention. I couldn't tell u one thing that you've said on here and tbh idc.

We are definitely not known for wearing "traditional" uniforms bc if that was the case the '01 uniforms would look like the 80's, and the 80's would look like the green and gold unis we wore like in '07 as an alternate. Bama, OU, Michigan etc. has wore that same jersey and never changed it. That is their tradition.

So...... I should start wearing my 90’s camouflage uniform that I have stashed away in my seabag?
I guess my 20 year old daily uniform is uber cool?
Can is sell my top for 200 cocos on Craigslist?

Edit: some dude just walked in with the ultra boost
Bapes.
I guess Manny has his ear to the streets. Dude is wearing an iced out rolly too.
Let my old *** just get out of the way.

If you're not into streetwear or pop culture then u probably won't like it. Nesta tweeted out yesterday that he was going to pull up to the Hecht to grab a pair of Yeezys. They're all streetwear brands. The players love them. Simple as that.

No im not into pop culture. I don't listen to Katy Perry or Adriana Grande or any of that schit. As far as "street wear" goes. If you are talking about what people in the hood wear. Than you I am "into streetwear" I dress like everyone else on my block. I got Js, I got Yeezys, word. BUt when I look up "street wear" this is the schit that pops up. I am not about that. The players don't wear that either.

You keep saying this. Whyyy do you keep repeating something so patently false.

It's not false. Tradition is like Bama OU Michigan, they've had one jersey and stuck to it. The '01 team didn't win in the '80s uniform. They had their own identity, they had their own uniform, which was modern to the time.

The writing on the wall is there for Manny to change the uniforms. With #TNM thing, Yeezy cleats, the AD of Equipment tweeting out the BAPE aesthetic, and Manny basically changing everything about the program Richt did. I feel bad for u guys who love the uniforms and don't see it coming. I like how they are now too, but not as our base rotation.

Yup. I remember teh bapestas. I wanted them so bad lol, but I wasn't about to drop 500 on them because I was a little kid lol. They aren't nearly as big as they were in those days. I see Chief Keef and other rappers wearing them, but it used to be the hottest rappers all talking about Bape and wearing it in every song.

Pop culture is not only music. If u were a part of the culture then u wouldn't even have to Google streetwear, u would already know. What Pinckney and Bandy are wearing is considered streetwear.

Bruh Louisville is 22% black. You are a culture vulture. I am from Harlem which is a lot more than 22% black lmao. We don't call it "street wear" over here. We call it clothes. We dress with whats hot. Street wear is what posers form the burbs call it when they want to act like they are from the hood.

Lmao my dude, it’s very evident you just got here then. Let me just end by saying you don’t know Miami like I do. I was born here (you’re from Kentucky I think?), went to the school, have attended more Miami games, and interacted with more players and legends than you ever will.

Please leave the uniform decisions to people that matter because clearly the hyper-minority (you) have no idea what they’re talking about.

I mean first, streetwear has nothing to do with race. If anything it's more whiteboy-ish bc it's influenced by skateboard culture. And second, idc what u call it to be honest. I never claimed I was from "the hood" 😂 sounds to me like you're just hating. It's weird that u even know I'm from Louisville.

So you want to try and recruit a majority black team with a white boyish swag? That makes 0 sense. The way Pickney and Bandy dress is not influenced by skaters. It is influenced by rappers who are emulating the dealers and hustlers. That is why I am bringing up the hood not because I think you are from there. LMFAO the classic response of someone with no swag when their clothes get called out"stop hating". How is it weird? You had the most popular thread in CIS history and the first thing on your twitter was you are from Louisville.

The people that matter are the players and Manny Diaz and it's pretty clear what direction they are heading in. The people who don't see the writing in the wall (you) are going to be highly disappointed when they unviel the new uniforms.

😂 Sounds like u are in your feelings though bro. Read the 48 Laws one time, you'd know that is the biggest sign of weakness.
