Bape back. Soulja Boy back. Blackberry doing deals to put their software in cars. Be right back. Gonna start selling shutter shades on EBay and go poke people on Facebook.

Just tossed my iPhone in the trash, going back to my old sidekick that D-Wade was the spokesman for

I am the same age as you and from the hood and don't want our team to dress like that. You can't just say well if you aren't part of the culture you aren't going to like it.

I'm 23 and very into streetwear and sneaker culture and I 100% agree with you. Bape is awful IMO, prefer sticking with standard Adidas stuff.

We had the same uni for the 80s and 90s. Twenty years. 2001 was a bit different but still Miami. A bit different is okay. But Nike went cuckoo with some of our stuff. Japanese street style Is more cuckoo Nike than updates. Most top programs win with standard Unis. Any kid picking a school on fashion isn’t new Miami. Aggressive playing kids are new Miami kids. Just one old man opinion.

There is no comparing Miami to the usual Bama, OU, Ohio St., Notre Dame etc. All of those programs have a much longer football tradition than Miami does. The U has only been relevant since the 80's, we are considered a newer powerhouse.

When Miami first got a contract with Nike we were their Oregon before Oregon was even a thing. The uniforms we were in '01 looked nothing like the throwbacks of the 80's. Miami has always been known to wear modern uniforms. This traditional look is something that Richt did. I understand people like it for nostalgia purposes but u can't be TNM and still try and relive the glory years of the 80's

Facts. I remember when we were kids the Bape air force one looking sneakers were all over the place. Cassidy always wore them and schit. Now the only thing i see rappers really wearing from Bape is that full zip hoodie with the face on it or the shorts with the face on it.

If you're not into streetwear or pop culture then u probably won't like it. Nesta tweeted out yesterday that he was going to pull up to the Hecht to grab a pair of Yeezys. They're all streetwear brands. The players love them. Simple as that.

Also just realized @D RevLee is very new around here. Clearly he missed literally all of us calling for classic uniforms in 2016 after the garbage Adidas gave us the first time. The current uniforms are fvckin sick and is traditional college football. Like really? Miami Vice unis, what a joke.

I really don't care for what everyone else "calls for" tbh. I form my own opinions on things.

I would be down for traditional uniforms if that is what the brand was built around and what we were known for, but it's not. Miami has always wore modern uniforms. There is really no debating that. It's fact.
