Our threads are universally liked, that's just fact. Spice it up with an alternate and some different accessories from Adidas like the Yeezy cleats or Bape gloves, 100%, but you want to make Miami cheesy. Orange, green, white, black... anything else is a gimmick.

Like I said, Miami has ALWAYS wore modern uniforms. That's the fact, period. I don't recall the '01 team trying to relive the glory years and wear 80's style jerseys. They had their own identity. Nothing is "cheesy" about keeping the tradition and wearing modern uniforms.

I really don't understand you, I'm not even trying to be disrespectful. How were the 01 unis modern? We just changed them a bit from the first batch of Nike ones like everyone else does. As the tech improves, the jerseys change.

The aesthetic of the '01 uniforms were different from the 80's and even the 90's. We have always had updated uniforms. The only time we have wore the throwbacks is as an alternate, never as the base rotation.

I'm not saying we should be Oregon (even though we were Oregon before Oregon) but keep with the tradition of wearing modern uniforms. We try to relive the past too much imo, and while that isn't a bad thing considering what we did in the 80's, it hasn't gotten us anywhere. U can't move forward if you're trying to be something u once was.

Yeah I don't expect people who aren't apart of the culture to like it but still think everyone should keep an open mind. If the players like it that's all that matters to me. But I do know this would have CF and a lot of the high school kids talking and that would continue the good energy we have around the program right now.

We had the same uni for the 80s and 90s. Twenty years. 2001 was a bit different but still Miami. A bit different is okay. But Nike went cuckoo with some of our stuff. Japanese street style Is more cuckoo Nike than updates. Most top programs win with standard Unis. Any kid picking a school on fashion isn’t new Miami. Aggressive playing kids are new Miami kids. Just one old man opinion.
